    Loses Itself A Little

This has by far been one of my favorite series out right now, and it's telling that this is the first "meh" issue I've come across. All the same, it feels like a shame that this storyline intermingling isn't being handled better, in my opinion. There was a lot of potential to have Black Bolt more involved with what's going on with the New Avengers, but instead we see the opposite; this issue is very much about the Illuminati being pulled into an affair that has not been the focus of this series really, despite it being a sister series and connected to the Infinity event. There's nothing really about the incursions or what this whole series has been about, even in the last few issues. Rather, we see a fairly broken up short plot point for the Infinity event, something I am not reading, which causes this issue to mean little to me.

There is still some prevalent character building, which is nice, and I do enjoy the interactions between Doctor Strange and the Ebony Maw, but I'd rather press on to what made me fall in love with this series in the first place. And, if the ending of this issue is any indication, next month should hold just that.

Also Thanos isn't overall happy with the news that his Cull Obsidian have brought h...
