Moonstone

Lloyd Bloch was the first Moonstone and an agent of the Secret Empire. He was later tricked into giving his moonstone over to Karla Sofen who took the name Moonstone for herself.

Nefarius

Bloch resurfaced with ionic powers similar to that of Wonder Man and now calling himself Nefarius. He was also claiming to be the son of Count Nefaria. Ironically he was drained or killed by Nefaria.

Creation

Lloyd Bloch was created by Mike Friedrich and Sal Buscema in 1974 and first appeared in Captain America # 169.
