A cynical businessman is killed while returning to his luxurious villa. The investigations, entrusted to Nathan Never, do not seem to lead anywhere, and when a second murder occurs in a similar way, the Special Agent Alfa realizes that he must face a serial killer. But how does he choose his targets? The victims have nothing in common and only by searching in their past Nathan can find a point of contact which will lead to Herbert Loomis, a seemingly ordinary man.
