The shuttle FC 916 from Luna City crashes into a shopping center in East City, causing hundreds of casualties. Nathan Never begins his investigation but his actions are controlled by the YCS (Young Cyber -Crime Section), a quasi-governmental occult organization, whose members are convinced that the real perpetrators of the massacre are the tecnopaths, people able to establish immediate and "instinctive" control with any computer system. Meanwhile, in the Sinclair Asylum Timmy, a child with psichi powers who is probably involved in the shuttle disaster is kidnapped.
