They used to team up a lot back in the days. Maybe time for another Super-Villain Team-Up book. Awesome title for a comic.

A more likely alliance would be with the Black Panther, who at times have shown distrust to other nations of the world.

Was the series good? I saw it in borders, and wasn't sure if I should get it.

i think that would be good in the beginning but dr.  doom will turn against him

namor is not really a villain. his main concern, his allegiance is with atlantis. some times atlantis and america/the surface world have conflicting interests. he has fought against many and fought with, along side of many of the heroes of the surface world. he has teamed-up with dr. doom many times in the past. w-a-y back in the day, super-villain team-up was a pretty good book with many guest apparences by the ff and the avengers. s-v t-u #13 is one of my all time favorite namor stories ever. i'd like to see he and doom team-up again...especially if namor gets to seriously kick doom's butt! doom's got it coming!
