I know I created a thread about Phelps but I did it because Phelps is a very inspiring Olympian who happens to be a great swimmer.

But right now, with White Mage reminding me of another guy, whom he believes he could really make a good Namor.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers, born July 27, 1977.

I actually just saw him once, in "The Tudors" tv series and he is really the one who makes the series great and interesting ( aside from the beautiful girls on the series ). He is really really good at acting.

And when i imagined about his eyebrows, it reminds me of Namor.

Maybe it's just me but I really think he could be a good Namor.

So what are your thoughts?

@jhazzroucher: I didn't like him in "The Tudors". I thought he and a lot of the cast overacted. But, he could do a good Namor but I think he's too short.

I see. I think they have the ability to make him look taller, right?

@jhazzroucher: Possibly, but why waste money on that when you can get a taller actor who better fits the part. I think Dwayne Johnson would be a better choice or the guy from 300. Money spent making him look taller could go into special effects or hiring a better editor or whatever else they could use it on.

I'm biased towards JRM. I think he is a very underrated actor. He gets a lot of bad press from personal affairs and I think a movie like this would certainly boost his career. That being said at 5'10'' I'm sure that with the right viewing perspective they can make him look taller. So yes I believe based on his looks and what I have seen of his acting capabilities, he could play Namor and do it fabulously. But then again I am biased.

JRM is wayyyy too pretty to be Namor

@mrtrickster: @Farinele_Etyl: If he were to get a movie would he then have to have an Avengers appearance? If so, he would be next to Chris Evans who's 6'0", Chris Hemsworth who's 6'4", and Samuel L. Jackson who's 6'2". Robert Downey Jr, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo are closer to his size. But, Namor is supposed to be built like Thor with more of a swimmer's build as opposed to Thor's build which is more like a NFL linebacker.

Well, if both Henry and Rhys go to a party with same clothes, I'm pretty sure Henry would overshadow him.

If you'll take pictures of Henry on different angles, he would still look good.

But in acting , Rhys is better.

Rhys also reminds me of Robbie Williams. hahaha. : )

He looks the part but how long can he hold his breath?
