i mean for god sake hes been around forever
First Caps now Namor i swear if these guys dont have some kick ass trump card in the near future i am going to be so pissed
and to kill Namor so damn easily BULL$H!T
Character » Namor appears in 4968 issues.
I just picked up Sub-Mariner #1-2 and I really feel like I've overlooked this character until now.
Sure, Namor gets a bad rap for attacking the surface-world all those times, and for collaborating with the Nazis... but he's not a terrible guy, once you get to his chewy center.
I think SHIELD finding his body is nothing more than a plot device, Namor is far to interesting for Marvel to kill off. Captain America dying I can understand, because the United States that he stood up and fought for all his life doesn't exist anymore. It's been replaced with a fat, greedy, and courrupt Republic. Captain America didn't have a place there, especially defending that U.S.
I think Namor will be fine, it's not as if Atlantis will be anything but his world.
Oh, Sat, that's a great synopssis as to why poor Cap died. But, yeah, Namor was pretty smart assed in Illuminati so I started the mini series and he better not be dead. %$#@! plot devices.

Check the new minseries he's in.
I'm reading the series and unless the third issue came out and I missed it Namor isn't dead. He's alive and about to fight Wolverine at the end of #2.
EDIT: And I saw previews somewhere online for 3, and he's alive there too.

I'm hoping the shot of his confirmed corpse is an idiotic plot device but one never knows.
I still dont think that hes dead...Namor was the first (anti)hero i dont think they would just killl him off...theres also a cover where gamora holds Novas skull in her hands while she is grinning..do u think hes dead too?
Silently wonders if Namor ever picked up cloning tech from Maelstrom, like every other villain in the MU.

in the issue 2 it shows his remains on a lab table and the doctor says all the dna scans tell them it is NAmor
and the fight with Wolverine is a previous fight
WHAT?! I haven't read his new series at all but I always thought Namor was awsome. They killed him? Really?

Like I said, clone to slow Stark down.
Where did you get that it was a previous fight? Is the whole comic happening in the past or something? If so, I really missed it.
did anyone consider that the guy may be lying??? and tony is just suppose to think that thats namor but really isnt...
