My body is a vessel of infinite Mystic energy. My mind is a living record of the mystic arts, both white, and black. My soul is a gateway to the Gods themselves. The power of my voice brings Deities and Entity's to my aid. It is a known fact that a sorceror's power is only limited to the purity, or the darkness within his soul. But my soul cannot possibly separate the two. Whether it is the beauty of saving innocents, or the rush from destroying evil, it all serves the same purpose. To feed my uncontrollable emotions. So that my ecstasy may not end, but that it continue for all eternity.

When I first started MUA2 for PS2, I was REALLY concerned. I mean, the next-gen versions were SO high quality, that I was worried about being disappointed with the PS2's lower graphics. I was also REALLY concerned because Vicarious Visions wasn'teven handling the game for the ps2 version. Some people called "N-space" did. What would this mean for the gameplay? What would happen with the graphics? Will the characters still look good? These concerns kept running through my head, up until the game actually started. But, having played through it all, I have to say, it DID NOT dissappoint.
For starters, the graphics are wonderful for the ps2 version. They have the fluidity of X-Men Legends 1, only with graphics of MUA1. However, due to the fact that all of the character models actually had attention paid to them this time around, that was ok. The attacks were all the same as the last game, only this time I felt a lot more involved. Storm looked phenomenal in this. Her cape did blow in the wind, and her character model was very sharp. She's arguably one of the best characters in the game (yay!). Psylocke was well worth the wait. Her attacks were swift, quick, and lethal. Her psychic knife could also be upgraded into a psychic katana, and then, evil bitches beware. BTW, her alternate outfit IS her classic puffy sleeves, so, instant fangasm. She even had her classic butterfly symbol!!! The sound in MUA2 was also VERY clear. The voice actors were spot-on, and actually had passion for their characters. The levels were LONG, but detailed, and full of destrictable environments. The only thing in the game that you couldn't really break was the floor. The fusions were.......................AWESOME!!!! I mean, seriously, besides the awesomeness of the general next-gen fusions, there were some great, creative fusions that were only for the ps2. Did I mention the 4-player co-op? The boss fights in this game are tough, but not unbeatable. Clearly, there was a good amount of time invested in each of the bosses and their attacks (shocker is SOOOOOOOO damn cheap, it's not even funny), which is good for not feeling like your wacking at braineless bastards.
MUA2 was everything that I wanted in a superhero game. The action was fast-paced, the graphics were impressive, and the story was involved. It truly met all of my requirements. If there are any ps2 only awards, this would definitely get the one for best action rpg. I just knew that this version was destined for greatness after all of the videos and reviews that I saw/read. I just knew it.....................................................................................................................................................................................and then I woke up.
He made the X-Men what they are today, TRULY introduced us to Storm, and gave us all Emma Frost.
