    Mugen characters
Well I'm new here, so I don't know if anyone really reads these blogs or not, so to be honest I'm just thinking out loud here, though feel free to add your opinions on my ideas or suggestions on them if you like.
I'm making a few mugen characters beings as I have time on my hands (mugen being the 2D fighting game engine that was used to make the marvel vs capcom 2 game) and I'm working on sprites of Spider-Man in his Iron Spider suit, since no one else seems to have done one.

Who do you think would make an entertaining symbiote host? here's my recommendations:

    Joker + Carnage
    Batman + Venom
    Dr Octopus + either symbiote

Yeah, bat-venom vs Jokarnage would be cool

I know the reply's a little late but still... Not sure if when a symbiote splits if its random or not, but from what seems to have happened in the past, the offspring bears some resemblance to the 'father'. The Venom symbiote created Carnage, which shares his black colour in the chaotic tendrils that envelope him (the red parts influenced from its time bonded with Spider-Man?). They share similiar but enhanced powers (carnage's symbiote tendrils can remain solid briefly when detached from his body, so he can create projectile weapons where as Venom's have to stay attached). Toxin has a ...

My Real Life

My Super Life
Darkside was born in an alternate reality within the Marvel Universe where the Civil War went down a different route; the Thunderbolts program and use of super-villains to track down unregistered super-humans progressed, leading to an uprising by the villains. Shape-changing villains posed as scientists within SHIELD to give their comrades fake 'nano' chips and the heroes, unable to properly suppress their enemies taking over the registered super-humans from behind the scenes due to being hunted by their own, could do nothing but watch.
Slowly, the villains took over and began to enhance themselves with SHIELD technology and scientific secrets gleamed from the likes of the Reed Richards, Tony Stark, and Hank Pym, coupled with existing breakthroughs such as that reality's Super Soldier Serum. Soon there was no stopping the villains, and super-humans were hunted almost to the point of extinction, leaving only a few rebels to fight against the tide of increasingly powerful super-villains.
Darkside himself is a mutant from birth, having been born with an incredibly quick cellular regeneration ability and photographic reflexes that allow him to replicate any physical action he sees. Originally dangerously unstable due to tampering by Apocalypse, he was kept under psychic control by Xavier within a secret area of the X Mansion unknown to anyone else, until Xavier was killed, one of the first targets of the super-villains' surgical strikes.
With his last breath, Xavier managed to break Apocalypse's conditioning of Darkside and asked that he repay him by keeping the other mutants - and the world - safe. As gratitude to Xavier, Darkside killed the super-villains and saved most of the young mutants; he also gained new powers when he killed a particularly vicious alternate-reality version of Venom.
In this reality, Venom was still Eddie Brock, but he had turned even more psychotic, having became a symbiotic lightning rod - he was the host to all of the reality's symbiotes, including venom, carnage, toxin, anti-venom and all the symbiotes Hybrid possessed in the 'central' Marvel Universe which had merged together to form the monster known as Symbiosis.
The symbiotes, seeing the potential to wreak chaos with Darkside as their host, latched onto him. However, his tampering by Apocalypse trapped the symbiotic influence in Darkside's mind, allowing him effortless and full control over them. He became Trueform Darkside, the leading defense against the rising tide of villains and later became the leader of a group of similiarly enhanced super-heroes who stand as the last line of defense for the world.

It's kinda difficult but its going well so far, I have made an idle pose and jump poses, though I have a long way to go yet. i'm having difficulty deciding what the waldoe legs would look like when they spring out of the costume, whether they would move in a springing motion or more fluid, etc. I'm also pondering how to implement the waldoes in attacks, cuz I want to keep it acrobatic and still like Spider-Man in his fighting style.
Ah well, just one of my many Spider-Man mugen ideas. Potential new mugen Spider-Men:
Bagman, the Spider, Six-Armed Spider-Man, Ultimate Six-Armed Spider-Man, Zombie Spider-Man, Spider-Man with stingers (oooh contraversial), man-spider, alternate FF Spider-Man (the one where he was in the Age of Apocalypse version of the FF with ghost rider, wolverine and the hulk).

Old Man Logan steps up the plate and becomes the Wolverine we all know and love once more. As long as the team keep up this standard of work all the way through the story arc, I shall be a firm fan.
*SPOILER ALERT*
In an unspecified time period, all the heroes have been defeated by an unknown enemy, and Wolverine got the worst of it. Set in an almost post-apocalypse future, wolverine is now nothing more than a farmer called old man Logan, struggling to make ends meet and keep his family safe from the 'landlords' of his area, the hulks (hulk's own hill-billy grandchildren). Something big must have happened here; the road map shown towards the end of the issue shows that continents have been merged (but how the hell did kingpin become the leader of his own zone, unless he mutated something chronic?). Lets hope to see plenty more references; I cant wait to see what has happened to some of my favourite characters such as Venom and Spider-Man, yet to be shown.
