My Real Life
Matt Brosseau is a mild mannered member of Delta Upsilon and spends his days attending classes and his evenings spending time dancing and teaching self-defense classes. He is rather politically active, but spends a good deal of time listening to other's ideas and gathering information of the world around him. Otherwise his life is rather mundane until he dons the costume.
My Super Life
Total Darkness believes in using his powers for good. He spends almost all of his time working alongside the other members of The Defenders of Dikaia, a superhero team based out of Southeastern Wisconsin.
Darkness captures evil doers in his Void. The only thing that perplexes most is that within his Void there is an entire planet that is actually quite pleasant to live on. After offering several of his captors the option of freedom and having them express their desire to stay he occasionally simply consumes something to make the world inside his Void more pleasant.
