This was clever.   I too dislike repetitive ads, but I'm already paying 3.99 for most of my books, some even 4.99. If we didn't have ads, comics would be so much more expensive. It can be a pricey hobby.

Bruce Timm has a very cool 60s/art deco inspired style, the same could be said about Darwyn Cooke. Gotta love it.  I don't much care for Ed Benes, he's like a poor man's Jim Lee.

Eli got some negative reviews, but I just don't think that it meant for everybody. The music was a trip.
