Nicholas Naiman was born into a lower-class family in Baltimore, Maryland. Nicholas didn't get many toys during the holidays, but his family was very close and made sure he got a good education. While in fifth grade, his father was killed by a drunk driver. Not able to afford the rent by herself, Nicholas's mother, Mandy, moved Nicholas and herself to Kesopolis, California to try to start over. Mandy sent Nicholas to Kesopolis Magnet Middle School, where he became instant prey for bullies. He was often beaten and mugged by other kids, even some kids who were bully prey themselves. He became friends with Dominique Armstrong, who stood up for Nicholas. In sixth grade, Mandy was diagnosed with breast cancerand later died when Nicholas was in eighth grade. With no living family, Mandy sent Nicholas to live with Dominique's family in her will. The first day he went to school after his mother's death, Cory, the meanest bully in the school came over to Nicholas and said "I heard about what happened to your mom, too bad I didn't get to screw her first!" Knowing his mother wouldn't want him to fight, he tried to walk away. Nicholas then got pushed to the ground and was getting beaten by Cory and three of his friends. While on the ground getting kicked, Nicholas wished that their legs would just break and he could get away. All four of the bullies fell onto the ground crying and holding their broken legs. Nicholas ditched school and thought about what happened. He tried to do what he did before on a soda can. He split it right down the middle. The next day at school no one looked Nicholas in the eye and decided on being called "Nick" now instead of "Nicholas". Nick made sure no one bullied anyone at the school, he never really fought anyone, but just walking towards people made them scared. Nicholas received a letter from The Xavier Program in Japan with full scholarship. Nicholas learned to actually destroy and see through objects, not to mention he also learned Japanese. He moved back to Kesopolis after graduating from Tokyo University. After moving back to California, he moved into an apartment with his best friend Dominique. He fought different villains like Dr. Solve, The Creator, Heather Swift, Controlman and many common criminals under the Supername, "Evulser". One day when Evulser was fighting Controlman, Evulser lost his control and accidently killed a United States senator. Americans citizens thought Evulser murdered him because of their past differences, so riots started and Evulser became the #1 Most Wanted Criminal in America. Nick decided to stop being a Superhero, "The world doesn't need him anyway." Nick changed his legal name fromNicholas Blake Naiman to Nick Armstrong, mostly to join Dominique's family a little more, but also for the initials N/A. He signed a minor league deal with the Oakland Athletics. He was able to forget about his Super identity quickly and rose to the top of the organizations rank's. After two years in the Athletics minor league system, Nick was promoted to the major league club. He was the starting catcher and won the Rookie of the Year award, hitting .303, 27 HR and driving in 91 RBI. In his second year with the A's he lead his team to the World Series even though they were swept by the Atlanta Braves. After the first month of his third major league season and his best so far, .456, 9 HR, 26 RBI, Dominique was mugged on his way home from the doctor and was in critical condition. Nick decided Evulser had been hibernating too long and it was time to wake up. Knowing that he would not be able to play baseball and be a Superhero at the same time, he retired after only 2 years and a month. When Nick saw a homeless man being beaten by about ten teenagers, he also saw the first chance for Evulser's return. He got into his costume quickly. He was about to destroy the bat they were hitting the man with, but he couldn't. Nothing happened. Evulser was able to drive them away but was injured. When he got back to the motel he realized he had lost his powers after not using them for over four years. He started to regret retiring from baseball, but soon realized he could try practicing to gain the powers back instead of just sitting on the bed crying. He tried practicing for about 3 months before deciding he'd have to go back to the Xavier Program for help regaining his powers. A couple of days before Nick left for Japan, Dominique was released from the hospital. At the Xavier Program, Nick was able to regain his powers and helped out other Superheroes in Japan. After a year and three months in Japan, Nick moved back to Kesopolis and became one of California's favorite Superheroes once again.
