Jay is an overachieving highschool student on the varsity team, editor-in-chief of the school paper, and even dates the popular cheerleader, but one day, during a fishing trip, he was bitten by the legendary fish, "Big-Fish", who is said to be an ancient monk, who transformed into a fish cursed forever, bestowed the powers to Jay.

Bitten by a fish, Teen Manatee gained super powers, but gained weaknesses of vampires and werewolves too, and became a hero.
