Seth was just a slightly above-average human, who was naturally strong, quick-witted, a great modest leader, and great friend to all. He rarely turned down anybody asking for help.
One of his closest friends, who was a scientist, asked Seth's help for an experiment. A new sort of drug, that was being tried out. It was an alternative to the super-soldier serum.
Seth was hesitant, because he heard what happened to people who tried out attempted recreation of the super-soldier serum, but his friend promised him it WASN'T a attempted-recreation, that it was a new type of drug entirely.
His friend promised him that it was perfectly safe, and perfected with all of the kinks worked out, and that Seth would be greatly rewarded for volunteering, whether or not the drug did what was expected.
After much persuasion Seth agreed to this, and in a controlled lab, was given an IV with the drug hooked up to it, as he lay a bed in the middle of a reinforced glass observation room.
His friend gave the go ahead, to start the IV drop filled with the serum. In the first few minutes, nothing happened, but then Seth started acting violent. He had uncontrollable muscle spasms, as his muscle mass increased. He started to thrash around, and since he wasn't restrained, he ran to the glass wall, looking out at his friend, beating on the glass.
His 'friend' looked at Seth, and said "I'm sorry Seth, I can't let you out, you're uncontrollable.. You're a hero though, for being so brave to try this, but it's a failure... You will always be remembered as brave volunteer for science, forever.
His friend, then told the control-operator, to activate the gas to enter the testing room. Halon was used (it wasn't banned yet), and all the oxygen was being sucked out.
Seth started to become even more enraged, and started to pound on the glass, harder and harder. He eventually, fell on the ground, and stopped moving. After the halon dispensed, his 'friend' entered to send him to autopsy to see what the serum exactly did.
As his 'friend' walked up to him, Seth jumped up and grabbed his 'friend' by the throat, and pushed him against the glass wall, lifting him up.
Seth said "You were my best friend, you try to kill me, then have the nerve to try to make me feel better with promising me fame, after my death? You broke you're promise, you're untrustworthy. You are a mad scientist! And you created a MAD CREATION!!!!"
Then Seth started to slowly choke his 'friend'. Saying "Now you shall know what it means to have the oxygen slowly stolen from you!" As the last breaths of air left his 'friend', Seth stormed out, running, running to get away from everything.
"Civilian" Seth is not muscular, just naturally stronger than most. When he enters into a "rage" his muscle mass is increased 20%, and he becomes more lean.
Hey everybody, I just recently joined. This seems to be an interesting site, all for comics, which I've gotten into recently.
If I could have powers, it would be what my character, Seth, has. Rage has really interested me, but not the type of rage Hulk has though.
So yeah.. Back to World War Hulk I suppose!

I love Slapstick, but I think the origins could have been a bit better. It was all still pretty interesting, but for some reason I sorta feel like it was just thought up last minute. So it was a bit bland. But since I love Slapstick, I'll let it pass. The art is pretty good, some drawings of him are hilarious. For some reason, I think that the story was a tiny bit lame. Somebody who JUST turned into a superhero is able to take everybody out. But I'll also let that pass, since I thought alot of it was pretty funny. I thought it was cleaver on how there were a few references to other characters. The thing about Krypton was also funny. I really enjoyed it at the end, when they were trying to think up names, and Slapsticks responses were. It's an okay comic, but if you DO like Slapstick, I suggest reading it.

This was significantly better than the first issue. Slapstick has SEVERAL funny faces, making me laugh all the way through. It's nice to see a super-hero who isn't a villain, use his powers for his own fun every one in awhile. Even though Slapstick isn't mainstream, it's still a good thing to see. Equally good, was that Slapstick isn't afraid to show the kids who's boss. The battle between Slapstick and The Overkiller was hilarious, and intense. During one part, Slapstick pulls a Bugs Bunny, and says "This means war", and then he kisses The Overkiller on lips. I think everyone would agree that Deadpool is the comic-relief character, Spider-man is the mainstream comic-relief, and Slapstick is the Bugs Bunny of the Marvel Universe. It was also nice to see Peter Parker annoyed by MJ, instead of blindly in love with her. These are the type of comics I love best. This is a nice read.
