 One day, a couple by the name of Jason Sare and Kathleen Sare had a baby named Kenny. The moment they had him though, they were both murdered by 3 assassins from Project: Anillation, which was a division to kill born Meta Humans.

 Realizing they could turn him into a weapon, they gave him a healing factor and trained him to perfection along with enhancing his natural abilities.

 But he protested. When he got out, he decided to be a mercenary for hire.Then he joined the Avengers, and felt at home. He fought Kang the Conquerer and shot a bullet through his throat, which he could thank for his expulsion. 
   
  He reverted to his first love, mercenary work, and fought a minor villain, Seraph, and stuffed a grenade in his mouth. When he got out of that mess he joined the Attackers but later came back to the Avengers.
