Sonic is a blue Hedgehog, born on Christmas Island. At a very young age, Sonic showed the ability to have super speed making if the fastest thing around. His friends and fellow creatures were attack by a man named Dr. Ivo Robotnik, who later goes by Dr. Eggman, and uses his super speed to defeat him. Sonic later gains the a sidekick in the form of a fox with two tails. Tails and Sonic go on many adventures together, always stopping Dr. Eggaman's plots to gather the seven chaos emeralds.

Powers/Abilities

Sonic is a blue hedgehog with superhuman speed. Under normal conditions Sonic is able to run at a little of Mach 1. He can maintain this speed for long distances as well as running backwards. Sonic has a unique ability to curl up in a ball and spin rapidly. This allows him to travel faster than he runs for short distances. Along with this speed boost, Sonic's spikes protect him in his ball form and allow him to cut through hard surfaces, including steel.

Sonic also has the ability to use Power Rings, to boost his speed and strength. The more he gathers the more they improve. Sonic can also warp space and time, but using a Chaos Emerald. This usually takes the form of Sonic Teleporting from one place to another. If Sonic gathers all seven Chaos Emeralds, he has the ability to turn into a form called, "Super Sonic". While in the Super Sonic form, Sonic because a golden yellow color and his eyes turn red. Also Sonic becomes much much faster and invunerable. He is also able to fly and survive in space. This form takes a lot of energy and so it can not be maintained for very long.

One of Sonic's main downsides is he doesn't have the ability to swim. While if he has momentum, he can run quickly across the water but if he loses while he is on top of it he will fall in and start to sink. Another thing is Sonic has a short temper and gets angered by slow things. He likes to always be moving and moving fast.
