I remember when Booster made his comeback in 52 week 39 or somesuch, that I hoped and prayed for a new Time Masters series starring Booster himself and Rip Hunter in the vein of Quantum Leap. And now I have it! Johns and Katz have raised the bar for new comic books as far as I'm concerned. The dialogue is top-notch, the storyline is entertaining and fresh, and the art is bar-none.

GET THIS BOOK!

This issue alone holds several top-comic book moments for me. Skeets Vs. Sinestro, "NO MAN ESCAPES ME!", and Booster's fix for the whole Sinestro problem. Only Booster could find a non-violent solution, while simultaneously inspiring Sinestro's most evil plan to date.

Pretty much anyone who knows me knows that I'm a huge Booster Gold mark. He's my favorite Dc Hero, if not my favorite superhero overall. So, understandably, this new volume was a given for me.

I think what I loved most, honestly, was it felt like 52 was continued in this series. I absolutely adored 52, and was deeply disappointed when it ended. But with the advent of this new series, it honestly feels like the main 52 storyline is continuing, and that's fantastic. I'm not sure who did the most as far as the writing goes, but I assume Geoff Johns had a huge influence as far as the story goes. Jeff Katz is extremely talented in his own right, and hopefully he'll be able to continue after Johns leaves the title.

The art was top-notch. This is quite possibly some of Dan Jurgens best work. I'd assume he's putting his all into it, given that this is his baby. He and Rapmund work flawlessly together, and seem to be able to put anything to paper.

Next month can't come soon enough! 10/10!
