Not much to tell. I started gaining access to my mutant powers when I was 12, same general age as most mutants. After accidentally teleporting half of a parking garage to another dimension, I was contacted by Professor Charles Xavier, inviting me to learn to control and harness my mutant powers at his institute in New York. I agreed and stayed as a student at the school for several years, training regularly in the Danger Room. I was one of the students on the bus that was decimated by William Stryker. I was able to teleport myself to another dimension just miliseconds before the explosion. I was alive, but reported as dead, and thus, my name was never added to the list of mutants to retain their powers after the events of M-Day. When I teleported back to my own dimension, there had been a significant time lapse, and I came back just in time to hear about Professor Xavier being shot in the head by Bishop, and the X-Men considering disbanding. Since my dreams of joining the ranks of the X-Men now seemed like they may never happen, I decided to use my anonymity to become a solo vigilante.
