Roxie was a mutant ever since she was born, even had wings. Since Wolverine had made out with Silver Fox without much thought (since they had both been drunk), she bears a deep hatred for him and eventually taught Roxie to have the same. Due to the fact that Silver Fox didn't know what to do with Roxie's powers when she was an infant, Silver Fox had made a deal with the Hellfire Club.
For the first ten years of her life, Roxie had to be home schooled because of her powers. But then the Hellfire Club took her away from Silver Fox.
After two years of training, Roxie seemed strong enough as a sacrifice to Shadow King so he could roam the earth and make it miserable. Emma Frost told the X-men about her and they tried to talk to Roxie, but every time they ended up being controlled by someone and attacked Roxie. After four fights, Selene tried to sacrifice Roxie, but Roxie ended up destroying Selene. Logan was able to find Roxie in the ruble of their destruction and took her to the Xavier Mansion Infirmary, since Roxie was barley alive. After two weeks, Roxie managed to escape while the X-men had to fight a ton of demons in Washington D.C (If anyone's wondering, those demons came from the Astral Plane). Roxie showed up at the end of the fight and tried to save the X-men (even though she hates them), but ended up disappearing.
Roxie ended up in Tennessee. She tried hitchhiking her way back to NYC (which is where she had fought in an Underground Fighting Circuit the two years away from her mother). Instead the Hellfire Club had relocated her and locked her up with Logan, who they had gotten to come to Roxie's aid. Sinister was working with them. While Sinister had cut Roxie's wings out, the Hellfire Club tortured Logan.
Maverick was able to save Roxie at the end of her surgery and took her to SHIELD, where she broke out when Sabretooth turned up. She had stayed with the Acolytes for about a month.
Then while fighting in the Underground Fighting Circuit, Roxie ran into her mother. Not even thinking of the Acolytes, Roxie went home with Silver Fox.
A few weeks there and someone (Roxie never got a good look at the guy) nearly killed her mother. Thinking her mother was actually dead, Roxie ran to the Xavier Institute. She ran into Piotr, talked to him for a bit, then Logan showed up. They talked alone in his room for a bit, then Logan found out that Roxie was possessed by Selene. He got Professor Xavier, Jean, and Emma Frost (who had joined the X-men) to save Roxie from that mess.
Roxie had went back to the Acolytes the next day. She admitted her father was Wolverine to Sabretooth, who didn't kill her for it. Since then, Roxie's been with the remaining Acolytes.
Due to the fact that her whole family has it except her, Roxie can absorb healing factors from anyone as long as they have one.
