My Super Life
Nox was born to a Lycanthrope mother. Most people believed them to be mythical, but her breed really does exist. Her mother was exiled from the pack because of her love for a human. However, when her father discovered her mother's secret, Nox and her mother fled. From the age of three, Nox lived as a wolf in the Black Forest of Germany. At age 13, her mother was killed by hunters and Nox was captured. Sold to a zoo in America, Nox reverted back to human form midway across the US due to the massive amount of stress from her predicament. Nox escaped her cage and was discovered wandering around the ship. She was taken by Social Services, assuming she was a runaway, and placed in an orphanage. Not being the most social of children, Nox was never adopted. She was educated and learned how to be human there. And then she ran away. The police brought her back to the orphanage where a young couple, determined to help the lost cause, adopted her. Realizing there was no fighting this fate, Nox accepted the couple as surrogate family, but she was never totally socialized. Nox would always be a feral child, but with some human elements.

I have been role playing for about eleven years now. I've seen the glory days of Rhy'Din (AOL chat rooms) when newbies were smart and learned the rules before rampaging into the game like they know it all. I RPed in Dragonriders of Pern and earned a Goldrider character in months of becoming active. And I sure miss the days of eGroups when good writers seemed to be everywhere. Now, Yahoo!Groups is mostly full of cheesy gamers who don't even put effort into their games. And myspace role playing, wow, now that's a mess! I miss the old days.
