Well I'm a mexican who lives in Mexico City My favorite writers are Grant Morrison, Geoff Johns and Marv Wolfman and my Favorite artists are Alex Ross, Jim Lee and George Perez. I like a lot of comic characters because of a lot of things, from their costume to their origin. However my personal favorite heroes are Batman and as a close second Nightwing, for villains I gotta go with Deathstroke and Ra's al ghul.

Every story has a start

Sebastian Olmedo was an international thief who had abilities that were second only to Catwoman. It was thanks to his skills as a thief that he quickly became a multimillionaire after stealing from every important museum in the world and selling it in the black market. Sebastian lived a good life without many risks as he was never detected when he broke into any place, however that changed when he moved to New York and was stopped by the original Robin (Dick Grayson). Robin and Sebastian fought, but because of Robin's great fighting skills he defeated Sebastian without any problem and took him to prison. Sebastian was supposed to stay there for two years, however he was able to escape just one month later. Sebastian decided that he would never return to that prison or any other, and that in order to prevent his capture again he would need to become a fighter that not even Batman could defeat, the way to do it would be to find the best people in the world to train him in diferent areas, something that he intended to do.

Richard Dragon

    
 










Sebastian went to the himalayas, in search of Nanda Parbat,  and man that lived in that  place, Richard Dragon, a man that according to his sources was one of the few persons that could beat Batman in hand to hand combat and if the rumors were true he wouldn't need a lot of effort to do so.

As Sebastian climbed the Himalayas all by himself he started to reflexionate about his life and if what he wanted to become was worth the risk he was taking just to find one man or even worse, for the first time in his life he was afraid that he may have pushed his limits too far and that he would die alone on that mountain without anyone even noticing. However when Sebastian was about to lose his hope he saw a small village with the form of a temple, that place was Nanda Parbat, the place that he had been looking for awaited for him just a few miles away.He had been able to reach it without any permanent problem. He entered the village, it was full of people but Sebastian didn't care, he was there for Richard Dragon, no one else mattered there. After entering a little house there he found a man that was known as Aristotle Rodor, Richard Dragon's friend.Sebastian asked Aristotle Rodor for the location of Richard Dragon as he desired to be trained by the best fighter in the world, at that moment Richard Dragon entered the room and asked Sebastian that why would he want to train a stranger like him, after Sebastian offered money to Richard Dragon he rejected it and told Sebastian that while he didn't want any of his money he would give Sebastian two weeks of training and that
if he was able to prove that he was worthy he would become his new pupil.

Deathstroke

Having returned to New York Sebastian rested for a few days and then called the man who had given him the data about Richard Dragon when he was looking for the best hand to hand fighter. Sebastian may have become one of the best fighters in the world thanks to his full training with Richard Dragon, but he wasn't even near to finish his quest for becoming the most lethal human on Earth. The first phase was done, however the second phase was about to start and for that to happen he would need to become a great tactician, something he would do by learning from the best in the world.

Sebastian's connections told him that Deathstroke could easily be considered the world's greatest tactician and that the reason he had such a great control over his mind was more than likely the serum that was injected in him by the army years ago, which not only gave him enhanced strength, reflexes, etc but also made him capable of thinking 9 times more than what a normal human does.

Sebastian's conections later told him that there was a way to get a serum similar to the one of Deathstroke which would make him be as strong as Deathstroke, as fast as him and even as smarter. Having the offer caught Nighthunter's attention he went to the place that his conections told to him to go, there he found a building that looked abandones, but that in fact was full of people and the palce was indeed a big office.

After depositing 100000 dollars in the place's account he went for a few test drives where he was injected the serum, after returning to his home however he collapsed and was taken care of by his butler, after two weeks he finally was able to wake up and while he was eating noticed that he was stronger than ever before. After that a big smile was formed in Sebastian's face as he realized that the serum has worked and that he was everything that Deathstroke was....maybe even more.

Having taken a costume that was really similar to the one used by Deathstroke he went to Central Park where he started to prove his new abilities when he found an umpleasant surprise, there was one man watching him from above and one that didn't look happy.

Using his great agility Deathstroke jumped to where Sebastian was training and grabbed him from behind and throwing him to the ground as a way to get answers, he wanted to know who the man under the mask was, how he got powers similar to his and more imporrtant than anything who had given him the right to use a mask similar to the one of his son, the Ravager (Grant Wilson).

Sebastian revealed to Deathstroke about everything that had happened, how he was beaten by Robin 5 years ago, how that leaded him to want to become the world's most lethal human, how he trained with Richard Dragon until becoming one of the best fighters in the world and how he took the serum to become a strategist as good as Deathstroke.

After Sebastian finished telling his story Deathstroke stood silent for the next few minutes and then a smile was seen under the mercenary's mask, offering a handshake to Sebastian, Slade proposed a deal, he would train Sebastian to combine his great fighting skills and new found powers with his improved brain if he would help him defeat Robin and the rest of the Teen Titans as a way to have revenge because of the death of his son, an offer that Sebastian would gladly accept as the main reason he started to train many years ago was to get revenge on Robin and what was a better way to do that than to destroy both him and the team in which he was the leader.
 
For the next months Sebastian was trained by Deathstroke to put his mind to it's limits, doing mental games, reading a lot of books that featured how to create strategies by using the surroundings, to manipulate people at will, to use numbers against them using what he learned in the books in practice, all of that leading to Deathstroke's master plan.

The titans

Months after meeting Deathstroke, Sebastian was asked by him to take a new costume that didn't look in any way similar to the one of the Ravager or the one of Deathstroke and create a new identity so that there wasn't any way that Nightwing could realize who he really was and make suspicions out of the plan.Sebastian then went to Titan's Tower and asked for membership, after proving himself by beating the complete team by himself he was accepted and stayd there for the next few months wanting to get enough information to eliminate all of the titans by attacking them from within, however something unexpected happened; as days and weeks went on, Sebastian started to develop a great friendship with both Jericho and Nightwing, it was thanks to this new found bound that after some time Sebastian decided to break the relationship with Deathstroke and that way ending his shame.

Death

It was a few months after ending his alliance with Deathstroke that Sebastian decided to leave the New Teen Titans and the superhero business as a way to use the brainpower that the serum had given him to create a small business which would quickly become one of the biggest and most important enterprices in the entire continent making Sebastian even richer than he already was. Although Sebastian was retired he decided to keep training himself to keep himself in shape and prepared in case that he ever decided to return to the life of a hero. Nothing good stays that way forever though, a few months later Sebastian started to feel dry at all hours of the day and night, he couldn't sleep and started to feel weaker every day until he couldn't take the pain anymore, using his old connections with the Teen Titans he was able to have an appointment with Doctor Mid-nite, the world's greatest doctor and the man that could find out what was happening to him. After runing a few tests the doctor told Sebastian  that the reason he was getting weaker every day was because the serum that was injected to him wasn't perfect and that it was deteriorating his body from within, the doctor also told Sebastian that it would kill him in 1 or 2 days and that there wasn't anything that could save him.

Sebastian decided that if he couldn't be saved he wanted to be with the rest of the titans in his last hours, however when he landed he discovered that the Teen Titans had been changed completely as apparently Raven had become an evil avatar of his father and that his close friend Joseph Wilson (Jericho) was killed by his own father after beeing corrupted by the souls of Azarath.

Knowing that he would die soon, Sebastian decided that he would try to take down Deathstroke with him as a way to make him pay for the murder of Joseph, it was after alot of hours of tracking Deathstroke that he finally found him, alone in an abandoned building that used to be the headquarters of the H.I.V.E in New York.







 

The Return

Sebastian had finally meet his end in the hands of his old trainer Deathstroke, however destiny was far from over with Sebastian's life, Sebastian may have died, but that was the turning point that would lead to many different things that would not only change how Sebastian lived, but also created a chain of events that would change the course of history in many different ways. One day two men went to the grave of Sebastian which had been put in front of Titans Tower with a statue in memorial of the fallen hero, the two men were people that worked for Ra's al Ghul himself and that wanted to recover the body of Sebastian as soon as possible.  The two men took the body of Sebastian and gave it to their master who then ordered to take the body into the closest Lazarus Pit. Following the orders of the Demon's head the two men threw the body of Sebastian into the Lazarus Pit making him return with the living once more. The gift didn't come without a cost though, when Sebastian was revived a great darkness took over him making his heart as evil as it could be, Sebastian was revived that night, however it had cost him his soul. The great fury that Sebastian felt in the moment made him lose control and kill the two men that had thrown him into the Lazarus Pit, suddenly he heard claps from behind. The claps came from Ra's al Ghul who had watched in the shadows the whole time as a way to know if the Pit had really affected Sebastian's mind. Soon after revealing himself, Ra's al Ghul offered an incredible deal: Sebastian would receive full training of him in the sword and in exchange Sebastian would kill Batman and his allies, an incredible offer that Sebastian would accept.

For the next few years Ra's al Ghul trained Sebastian in the use of the sword, having lived for centuries the head of the demon had achieved a mastery over the sword that no one else could claim and day after day without resting he taught Sebastian how to become one with the sword, Sebastian was a prodigy with this weapon and that was what helped him to learn everything that Ra´s al Ghul taught him in practically no time, it had taken him only 5 years to master what had took his sensei centuries to acomplish.

When the day came he was ready as his training had been completed, he was now ready to do his part of the deal; eliminate Batman, a mission that Sebastian wouldn't have agreed to do in his past life, not because of a lack of skill but because his morality would have stopped him from killing the mentor of one of his closest friends, but those days were gone and noone could stop him now.

Gotham City

 





































Once the training of Sebastian was finished he went under the orders of Ra's al Ghul to Gotham city to confront and kill Batman just like their deal said, a deal that Sebastian wouldn't have accepted in his past life, not because of lack of skill but because he had morals then, morals that would have prevented him from killing a hero, especially one that was as important as Batman.


Fearing that his identity would be discovered by Nightwing he painted his hair black and also covered his face with bandages that would also help him talk with a different voice without it beeing discovered, with everything ready he took all of his weapons and decided to take over the principal bank of Gotham city, knowing that the police would go after him and that when they failed they would call for their greatest weapon against crime.

15 minutes later what Nighthunter expected happened and Batman appeared in the bank, talking to the commissioner trying to learn about the situation and if the robber had any other alias, Sebastian didn't wait though as he knew where he wanted the fight to take place, using his cellphone to call the commissioner and order him to tell Batman to go to the roof of the bank alone, a request that the Dark Knight would accept.  A few minutes later the two of them found themselves seeing each other face to face about to have a fight that would likely be epic, Sebastian counted that he was a better fighter than Batman, he knew that he had other advantages over the Dark Knight that should mean a quick victory, but he also knew that understimating Batman would be a terrible mistake so the two of them began, showing in each attack that they were serious and that there was no holding back.

The fight was indeed one of the greatest displayed in many years, both of them were highly trained and proved it with every punch and attack they sent. Batman proved to be good, one of the best...but Sebastian proved to be even better, the fight finishing with both of them incredibly tired, with a lot of blood on the floor from both of them and Sebastian pointing his gun to a Batman that couldn't even move anymore.

Batman

Now that Sebastian was living in Gotham City and was working alongside the batman family he decided that he would gain as much of the experience as possible, leading to him asking Batman himself to train him in the study of criminology and in the creation and use of gadgets that someone with alot of money could use.

Under the teachings of Batman, Sebastian learned to be a great detective in his own right and how the uses of investigation and the constant attention in the small details could be used together with his impressive strategy to find the weaknesses of his opponents and use those to defeat anyone and that if you put enough atention and with the right weapon you can even use their attacks against them, demostrating how if you use your mind correctly you can beat almost anyone.

Sebastian lived there 2 years and when Batman taught him all that he needed, Sebastian was even more skilled than before, now able to claim the title of the most dangerous man alive without anyone questioning it, however he knew that he could be even more, he knew that the only thing that he lacked was agility and he also knew that no one could teach him to be agile as good as Nightwing could teach him, because after all, Nightwing is the world's greatest acrobat.

Nightwing

Under the teachings of Nightwing, Sebastian quickly became one of the greatest acrobats in the world, being able to move faster than almost any other human on Earth. The agility that Sebastian gained wasn't only to use in acrobatics though, as he also learned how to use his superior agility in ways to use the momentum of his oponents against them and to use it as a way to evade many attacks from the opponent, by combining these moves with his fighting skills there wasn't anyone who could beat him in hand to hand combat, making Sebastian the most dangerous human on Earth.

Green Arrow

When Sebastian finished his training with Nightwing he decided to improve his use of the weapons as a way to completely finish his training, that he was incredible in the hand to hand combat didn't mean that he shouldn't master the uses of diferent weapons as a safe bet. Sebastian could use his hand to hand combat to help him master the short range weapons, but he knew that for the perfect use of long range weapons he would need to have a perfect accuracy, that's how he decided to move to Star City and ask Green Arrow to train him.

Leaving Blüdhaven just a few days before it's destruction in the hands of Chemo during Infinite Crisis, Sebastian arrived at Star City and asked Green Arrow to train him, he accepted but only if Sebastian agreed to also train Green Arrow in unarmed combat.

During the year after Infinite Crisis, Sebastian and Green Arrow trained each other at the same time, it only took Sebastian a year to both reinvent the combat style of Green Arrow and to acomplish a perfect accuracy with any weapon.

Vine's earth

The multiverse is back

After the events of Infinite Crisis the multiverse was brought back, it's return changing many things of the story of Earth, one of them was that Sebastian was now supposed to be from another universe, when the Monitors discovered this they decided that instead of murdering him like many other anomalities he would be returned to his universe, as he was a low level risk.

One day Sebastian awoke and found a world much diferent to the one he came from, he was completely alone and didn't know anything of this new Earth, however he still remembered everything from his other life and knew that no matter where he was, there had to be a way back and that until he found it he would keep doing the good fight because that was for what he was born and trained.

For the next few days Sebastian found himself investigating this new world and trying to find a place in it, he quickly discovered that just like the Earth where he came from, there were many people with super-powers, both good and bad guys lived here and fought each other like in that other Earth.

One day Sebastian found a piece of paper announcing a tournament called "The best of the best tournament" it was a way to find the most skilled fighters in the world, meaning that it was the perfect oportunity for Sebastian to know who in this new world were the most dangerous villains and who were the most skilled heroes, however before he entered, he needed to create a super identity for himself, the tournament would be in a month so that should be easy..right?

After many weeks of waiting, the tournament finally started, in the city created just for the sake of the tournament could be found many diferent warriors, for what Sebastian could tell atleast 90% of them had powers, making  Sebastian realize that to win this thing he would need to use all of his strategy skill, knowing that waiting in the shadows would be a good way to analize the opponents and find an easy target to attack.

Sebastian stood waiting for awhile until he saw two fighters, one of them chasing the other, as he heard them yelling he learned their names, Gambler and Akira, both of them skilled in many ways, however that was something that Sebastian didn't know and without prepairing himself he jumped into battle; separating  both fighters when he kicked Akira's chest making him fall to the ground.

After that the two of them started to fight each other, they didn't know who the other one was, however that didn't stop them from attacking each other without mercy, both of them equally skilled which was proved after they canceled each other's attacks like the waves of the ocean, the fight continued without showing a clear winner until Sebastian started to get tired while Akira as a robot kept as fresh as before.

Using a knife, Akira was able to injure the shoulder of Sebastian, making him unable to move as good as before because of the injury and giving Akira enough advantage to be able to injure a few other parts of Sebastian's body. Bleeding to death and with a few ribs broken Sebastian knew that he had to get out of there one way or the other, something that he was able to do with a few smoke bombs just before Akira gave the finishing blow, with the smoke he was able to leave the battlefield and enter a hospital, however soon after that he collapsed because he had lost alot of blood.

Nighthunter

 

After the fight with Akira, Sebastian was so injured that he was put into intensive care where he remained for 2 weeks until he woke up, when he did, Sebastian quickly left the hospital and started to think about the fight that he had with Akira two weeks before, his identity had been compromised the moment that he arrived at the hospital as many people saw his face under the mask, knowing that he couldn't use that same costume anymore he knew that he would need to find a new identity to return to the game.

After deciding that the best thing to do would leave the crimefighting business until he had fully recovered, Sebastian stealed a scooter and started to travel down the road in search for more knowledge of this strange parallel Earth and for the answers of where he belonged and what was he meant to do in this world.

His travels made him arrive at Mexico where he decided to take a drink even if he didn't have that much money to spend, after all that he had been through it's the least he deserved after all, on that bar he met a drunk man that was inviting everyone that crossed his path a drink for the sake of it, taking advantage of the oportunity Sebastian asked that man to invite him a drink, something that the poor bastard accepted to do.

Feeling guilty for receiving the drink without giving anything in exchange, Sebastian sat next to that man and the two of them started to talk, soon the man was so drunk that he started to tell Sebastian all of his secrets and stories, one of the stories in particular gained Sebastian's atention; the legend of the Nighthunter.

Sebastian heard the story from the mysterious man, apparently the Nighthunter was a protector of this country that didn't have any power like most of the heroes, but that used his skills and inteligence to beat any opponent he faced and protect anyone who was ever in trouble. Taking it as a signal, Sebastian left the bar and went to the dessert where he stood looking at the stars for 2 hours until he decided that it was time to get back and that he would be the new Nighthunter.

Breaking into a tecnologic facility, Sebastian started to use the resources there to design a new costume for him, making it in a way that would show resemblances to all of his former mentors while still showing that he was his own man and using the tecnology there to create a few gadgets for himself, that night the Nighthunter was reborn.

The Ultimates

With a new codename, Nighthunter returned to New York and went to a little abandoned building where he had been living since he arrived at that mysterious Earth, without any money there wasn't anything better he could pay. Everything was as normal as ever until one night when Nighthunter found Akira waiting for him in the abandoned building.

Without hesistation, Nighthunter attacked Akira, however the man wasn't there to fight, but to talk. After a little controntation, Sebastian realized that Akira really only wanted to talk, Akira explained to Nighthunter that with the return of a long thought dead evil team named the Hellfire Club he wanted to create a new team of heroes and anti-heroes that would fight against the villains, he also told Nighthunter that he wanted him to join the team, after much thought, Nighthunter accepted.

After that night along with Akira, his brother Sparda and the rest of the greatest heroes and anti-heroes of the Vine, the Ultimates were born and ready to fight any and every evil in this world.

After the creation of the Ultimates, Nighthunter and Akira started to become close friends, fighting together against any challenge that was put infront of them, those were the good old days, however nothing good lasts forever and the team quickly started to fall apart, making all of the members to go alone on their own paths and search for where they now belonged and  what was their destiny, something that Nighthunter had been wanting to know for awhile now.

Change of heart

With the disbanding of the Ultimates, Nighthunter found himself alone once again, with the need of knowing more about this Earth he started to read the history books of this planet, he learned everything that had ever happened there and everything about all of the heroes and villains of the past that were now gone, one in particular grabbed his atention; Mighty Magneto, the leader of the most powerful villain team to ever walk on the Earth, the Vine Villains.

Inspired by the leadership skills and power of Mighty Magneto, Nighthunter decided that if being a hero hadn't helped him in any way ever since he ended in this Earth, he would try the other side of the coin by becoming a villain, using his skills to steal many precious things and evade the heroes just like in the good old days, in short time Nighthunter was again a multimillonaire.

Money had taken care of most of the problems of Nighthunter, however that wasn't enough, he wanted to return to the big leagues and feel again what it feels to be in the front lines of a fight that could decide the fate of the planet or even the universe, he didn't have to wait much though as Mighty Magneto was soon revived.

With the rebirth of Mighty Magneto he started to recruit many different villains to form a new version of the Vine Villains, one of the villains  that he personally offered membership was Nighthunter, an offer that he would accept. Now as a member of the Vine Villains, Nighthunter soon found himself in the inner circle, without any problem he gained higher ranks in no time; he was promoted from rook to knight, later to bishop and finally as the black king of the team.

King of the Vine tournament

Now as a member of the Vine Villains, Nighthunter entered the next big tournament named "King of the Vine tournament", he had improved his skills quite alot, making him believe that this time he would be able to go further, however much to his badluck, he found himself in the first match against Eternal Chaos, one of the most powerful and mysterious beings in this universe.

Using all of his weapons and equipment Nighthunter was a ble to give a decent fight to Eternal Chaos, however in the end Eternal Chaos proved to be too much for him and won the battle. Eternal Chaos, thinking that Nighthunter had proven himself as a warrior, decided that  Nighthunter deserved a quick and painless death, using a new attack that not even him knew what woul happen now, Eternal Chaos opened a portal and threw a magical lightning attack, without wanting to give his opponent the pleasure of killing him, Nighthunter grabbed all of his explosive arrows and activated them just before the lightning hit him, causing a great explosion that would have an effect that no one would have expected.

The future is now

No one knows how or why, but the attack of Eternal Chaos didn't kill Nighthunter, instead it sent him 1872 years into the future. When Nighthunter woke up he found out that the Earth was almost completely destroyed and that he had traveled almost 2000 years into the future.

Finding old history records, Nighthunter found out that a few hundred years before, a mysterious mutant had activated his powers in the middle of New York, causing a big explosion that almost completely destroyed the city, the humans in response to this decided that the best thing to prevent this from happening again was to eleminate every single mutant, that was how the war between Homo Sapien and Homo Superior to become the only species on Earth.

The war continued for hundreds of years until one day the mutants finally won, not satisfied with killing the authorities of the Homo Sapiens, the mutants decided that every single person without powers would be eliminated to preserve the X-Gene from getting contaminated.

After figuring out what had happened to his species, Nighthunter started to travel, searching for a way to go back to his own time and maybe even prevent it from happening, his travels would lead him to the place where everything had started, New York City, now just a fraction of how glorious the city was before,  without any other reason than wanting to find a way to go back to his own time or a little bit of food, Nighthunter was  attacked by several individuals that  had just one thing  in common with Nighthunter, they were humans.

The resistance

Every single one of Nighthunter's opponents had the same uniform, they also didn't show any reason as to think they had powers. Using his impressive fighting skills, Nighthunter was able to take down the 6 opponents in just a few minutes without any real problem and just when he was ready to give the finishing blow to the first opponent, he heard a voice of an old man telling them to leave Nighthunter alone because he was human.

When Nighthunter turned around, he saw an old man behind him, a man that he would quickly recognize but that didn't know how it was possible that he was alive and there, the man behind him was the Sensei, a man that according to Richard Dragon was the best fighter in unarmed combat the world had ever known, a result of having lived and trained for centuries. but that he had one day dissapeared without leaving any trail, Nighthunter would have never imagined that the Sensei would not only be in this new parallel Earth, but that he would also still be alive in this timeline.

The sensei apparently was now the leader and trainer of the resistance against the mutants, the resistance was conformed by all of the human survivors, which could at the most be 80 people, that was all left from the human race and something had to be done. Having seen the impressive skills of Nighthunter, the Sensei offer him training, saying that with enough extra work, Nighthunter could become an even better fighter than the Sensei himself.

The days would pass and the months would end quickly and every day the hand to hand combat of Nighhunter would keep improving until five years later the student would start to surpass the master., it was just 7 years later that Nighthunter finally surpassed the Sensei, learning and improving the tecniques that had taken his master centuries to do, now Nighthunter was ready for the next step to become a living weapon.

Operation Secret Weapon

 












































Having finally finished his training, Sebastian was injected with an improved version of the serum used in Deathstroke, making him able to use his mind and body in ways that Deathstroke couldn't even dream. Nighthunter had doubts about using this serum as it had been a bad version of the serum used in Deathstroke what had started to kill him many years ago, yet he knew that he had to be the best he could be in order to be the weapon that could help humanity to finish this war even before it started.

Now with both the best hand to hand combat the world had ever known and with abilities beyond the ones of any human, the scientists started to develop a battle suit for Nighthunter in order to both increase his defense and to make more lethal every single attack he made, using the best they could make with the tecnology they had, they created a powersuit taht was conformed by nanobots that would be injected in Nighthunter's skin so that he could use it any moment he wanted.

Zero Squad

Having all that he needed for his mission, Sebastian was sent back in time with the purpose of waiting for the mystery mutant that had created tahat dark future to appear. Nighthunter was still several years older, however he had returned just 6 months after he had left, however everyone thought that he had died in the King of the vine tournament, there had even been a funeral for him.

After being introduced to the leader of the team, Renegade Lantern, Nighthunter was offered membership in the Zero Squad as they thought that he would fit perfectly in their way of fighting crime, this was the moment that Nighthunter finally stopped being a villain and returned to the side of the angels.
Nighthunter once again went alone on the road, he knew that he couldn't be a Vine Villain anymore, but he also didn't know what to do with his life, it was during this trip that he met a man that he would later know for a long time, Andferne. Andferne told Nighthunter about the newfound team of heroes and anti-heroes named the Zero Squad which operated as the black cops to make sure that justice would be served.

Zero Crisis

Soon after joining the Zero Squad, Nighthunter moved near the tower of the Zero Squad, even if he had a room in the tower he prefered to have a little distance to the team in order to keep his personal life and his work considerably apart from each other. He started to develop a good friendship with his new neighbor Johnny Hamilton, a man that Nighthunter would start to see as a brother, even revealing his  secret identity to him.

Soon after that, the Vine Villains started to attack the family and loved ones of the Zero Squad, it was then that a former teamate of Nighthunter named Aztek killed Johnny Hamilton infront of Nighthunter's eyes. Having buried Johnny, Nighthunter swore that he would avenge him since everything had happened because of him, soon after that Andferne called the entire team to the castle of the Vine Villains in order to rescue Renegade Lantern who had been captured by Final Arrow and Darkchild.

Along with Rayne, Nighthunter went on a rescue mission to save the captured Renegade Lantern, while at the same time Andferne and the rest of the Zero Squad made a full frontal attack against the Vine Villains at the gates of the castle. Having rescued Renegade Lantern, Nighthunter and Rayne found themselves infront of Aztek. Knowing that Renegade Lantern had to be cured by Spartan, Nighthunter told Rayne to take Renegade Lantern out of the castle while he confronted Aztek, Nighthunter won quite easily, making him feel scared as it wasn't possible that he had beaten someone like Aztek so easily.

Soon after Nighthunter had killed Aztek, Last Arrow broke the spell of his evil brother, revealing that the members of the Vine Villains that they were fighting were really their loved ones being mind controlled and with the powers of the Vine Villains, at the end of the day it hadn't been the villains who had killed the loved ones of the Zero Squad, it had been themselves.

A new direction

In the aftermath of the events of Zero Crisis, Nighthunter moved full time to the Zero Squad Tower where he built with the help of the funds of the team one of the best laboratories the world had ever known. Soon after the laboratory was created he started to work in several big projects that would change the humanity if done right.

The first project was to put in one single program with every single thing that the humanity had discovered through history, something that by being connected to the brain would give the user complete knowledge about any subject that had been discovered by the humanity.

The second one was to create another program that would have a completely detailed information of every single hero, anti-hero or  villain on Earth, from their powers and identities to even their weaknesses, that program would be named "The source" and would prove to be  an amazing weapon in crime-fighting not only for investigations, but also because it could help Nighthunter come up with strategies to beat anyone he ever faced.

The third and last one of those big projects would be to not only learn how to clean someone, but to also make any alterations to their DNA in order for them to be just the way Nighthunter wanted, it took Nighthunter alot of time, but he was finally able to make the three projects work, however, knowing that the world needed more, making him decide to  combine the three projects into one and then making the perfect human.

Betrayed

It was only a matter of time before he met in battle someone who would be skilled and lethal enough to kill him and Nighthunter knew it, however he never expected it to be his teamate Andferne. Andferne, who not only was a founding member of the Zero Squad but also the man who introduced Nighthunter to the team had decided to betray the entire Zero Squad by destroying the tower of the team and also take down Nighthunter without any apparent reason.

Taking Nighthunter into a trap in the mountains of South America the two of them fought, showing a display of ability and skill that most would feel jealous of, a fight that could only have one survivor and that would made Nighthunter use all of his skill, yet it wasn't enough to take down Andferne.

Having lost a lot of blood and without any energy left, Nighthunter was attacked by surprise by Andferne throwing 10 bullets directly to him and although Nighthunter was able to avoid most of them, he was too tired to evade the last two that went through his body; one directly into the heart and the other one put just between the two eyes, that was the day that Nighthunter died.

From the ashes

It was over, Nighthunter had been killed by his friend Andferne after a fight that had required all of his skill but that yet, wasn't enough. Sebastian Olmedo had died that day, but the days of Nighthunter were long from gone, having prepared himself for this moment just like any other, Nighthunter had fused together all of his big projects into one as an attempt to create the perfect human that would carry on his legacy and archieve more than he ever did.

Soon after Nighthunter's heartbeat stopped, a red light started to shine in the middle of Nighthunter's chest, after that a signal was sent to the lab of Nighthunter which after receiving it revealed a display cage, it contained the body of a man in his early 20 that was on the peak level of human condition and with a face that although not identical was very similar to the one of Nighthunter, something that wasn't surprising since he was the altered clone of him. A few seconds later the body was put in a medical table and a few minutes later he woke up.

Soon after that, the computer put a video footage that had Nighthunter in it, in the video he explained to the young man who he was, why was he created and what his presence meant., that was the last attempt from Nighthunter to have someone to keep on his footsteps and someone who would avenge him by killing who had murdered him, that was the day that Nighthunter was reborn.

Passing the torch

Having learned the reasons of his creation, the young man under the instructions of the original Nighthunter went to where the dead body was and later taking it back to where the old laboratory of Nighhunter was 30 meters below the now destroyed tower of the Zero Squad.

This young man wasn’t even 1/10 the fighter that Nighthunter was, however he was way smarter, as he had been designed to be the perfect human, his IQ not only was beyond the top charts of most humans, he also had inside his brain the program designed by his predecessor himself that granted him advance knowledge in practically every area mastered by the man.

Using this great intelligence of his, the young man was able to separate the nanobots that built the power suit from Nighthunter’s skin and then inject them again on his own skin as a way to not only gain armor and a perfect disguise to make everyone believe that Nighthunter had never died, it was also a symbol that he had officially decided to become the new Nighthunter.

Using “The source” Nighthunter was able to match the bullets found where the fight had taken place with Andferne who had just joined the Outlawz making it seem obvious that he had betrayed his predecessor just before changing teams.

 Four days after this, the Outlaws became enemies of the state and the Zero Squad was ordered to hunt them and take them down; having upgraded every single one of his weapons, Nighthunter went to the city of New Orleans to make the entire city a big trap to capture and kill Andferne, using this new order of the government as a distraction to make things easier.

Following Andferne when he was on the run to an abandoned building, he appeared in front of Andferne, a great fear took over him when he saw a man with the same power suit that Nighthunter used, making him doubt if he had really killed his friend the other day in the mountains.

Knowing that Andferne would be able to take him down if the fight was only using hand to hand combat, Nighthunter used mind over strength to beat his opponent. The first attack was a flash grenade that exploded just in front of Andferne’s face, soon after that Nighthunter grabbed his gauntlet and used it to leave the building, while he was still in the air, he pressed a button causing a great explosion that would be powerful enough to take down the building where Andferne was.

Nighthunter started to walk to where the body of Andferne was, he was still alive, soon after that, Nighthunter grabbed his sword and used it to decapitate the head of Andferne as his files said that was the only way to kill him.

Soon after this, the Zero Squad found itself betrayed by the government, it was during this time that Nighthunter met Renegade Lantern and asked if he could become a member of the team as a way to improve his skills, in honor to the original Nighthunter, Renegade Lantern accepted.

The original Nighthunter is the superior fighter between the two, having received training by such legends as the Sensei and Richard Dragon that helped him become one of the best fighters the world has ever known.

The second Nighthunter was trained under the watchful eye of Last Arrow who taught him in the use and mastery of many diferent and complex martial arts, now although he ain't on the level of his predecessor, he is still one of the best fighters in the world, having reached in a relative short time.

 If the fighting skills of Nighthunter are legendary, it's really been his showing of strategy what have made him become one of the most feared fighters in battle, using only his brain combined with his fighting skills and a few gadgets, Nighthunter is able to give a good fight to almost any opponent, calling Nighthunter one of the world's greatest tacticians wouldn't cover it, he not only uses his brain but also "the source" and the program that is connected to his brain that grants him alot of knowledge over many different area, by combining them he gains an almost unlimited amount of possible strategies to use against his opponents.

However, his strategic mind doesn't limit itself only to the battlefield, Nighthunter has shown that he can look a situation in every single angle and figure the best way to confront the situation, knowing any single possible variable that could change the turns of the events and manipulating it in a way to use is as an advantage.

Weapon Master/Gadget: He was trained by the dark knight in the use of his equipment to another level, his arsenal is as powerfull as the one used by Batman himself. He would later get equipment from the far future, that equipment is the most advanced on Earth and Nighthunter is the only one that has access to it. Peak human agility/Master Acrobat: Thanks to his training with Nightwing the former boy wonder (also the best acrobat) he was trained to have the best agility his body can have, he has indeed found the limit of a human body  Marksmanship: Trained by the best archer in the world, this young warrior has a perfect accuracy that he uses either with a gun or in strange cases with a bow.

Power Suit:

The suit was designed by scientists of the future to make Nighthunter the ultimate living weapon. His new suit is completely comprised of nano-robots allowing him to retract the suit into himself, change its appearance, and control its functionality by thought alone. The suit grants it's user tracking technology, vitals monitors and a bullet-proof exterior. However the most incredible ability of the suit is that it can analyze any attack either physical or based on energy and think of a counterattack in just a few seconds, it also can download into his brain any weakness of the opponent if the user wants it.

Before the original Nighthunter died he created three big projects; the first one was manipulate his DNA making his clone the perfect human, the second one was to create a program in which any information known and mastered by humans from tactics to politics would be put together and downloaded into the brain of a simple human. The last one was a complete "encyclopedia" that had the codename of every single hero, anti-hero and villain on Earth, their origins, powers and even weaknesses are written in it and are accesible only to the two Nighthunters.
