It's really great when comic book fans attend Cons, post and share their experiences.  Seriously.  It allows those of us whom are unable to attend the majority of the Cons due to location, finances, health, etc. experience vicariously through your attendance.  It is great when you blog, post pics, videos,  and interviews.  Thanks for doing it.  Hope to see more tomorrow!!

Heck, yeah!!  DC has been mired in all these "alternate" Earths, timelines, etc. for waaayyyy too long.  What started out as a kitschy thing to grab the attention of kids way, way back in the day has been bastardized to in an even more convuluted mess than can be imagined.  I didn't get into the whole Final Crisis, and all the other recent titles by DC, because I knew it ...

I don't know if you grew up in a city or small town, but I can also recall those spinner racks in the local drug store.  Our local grocery store put the comics out on the main display kiosk with all the other magazines and newspapers, and my brothers and I thought it was like Christmas once the new comics came in.  I don't know if I ever saw that ...

Hopefully you'll be able to see the episode of Heroes from last night. It was good, and I think it SHOULD finally stop all the complaints about the show.

That's pretty funny.   I don't hate the man, but I have a hard time understanding why so many people think he's all that.  Guess I am missing something.

Agreed.  Mike Mignola's artwork and imagination are in a class all its own.  Once you see his art, you know it's him, he's that distinct.  I never read the Goon, though.  Is it worth it?

This is one comic I'd heard about but never got my hands on, and now I really do want it.  One of the lesser known gems.  It is very Sci-Fi and the story sounds awesome. For the movie, I'd read that  Bruce Willis will be the lead.  If I never get the comic, hopefully the movie will be good.
