Origin

Peter Rest was born with the ability to predict the future. He would often see terrible things before they happened and he would often try and find ways to prevent the terrible things he saw from coming true. However because he was still just as physically human and so young he really couldn’t do much as people would never believe him until something bad happened.  At age 14 he became depressed and then drifted into insanity due to what he saw.  
 
He was soon sent into a mental institution where he spent a great amount of time getting worse instead of better as he began to see even more and more terrible things, but despite them coming true he was just given more drugs and ignored as no one thought he could see the future. However one nurse Tina Kincaid at the institution harbored feeling for him despite being 19  and was able to realize that the things he would say would come true.  
 
She tried contacting different law enforcement agencies, but would be treated no better than Peter. However one day a man named Kevin Roberts showed up ordering his release and took him to an office building.  
 
He revealed that he was part of an organization that for years had been keeping track of secret bloodline of people who were unique and different from the main population. Many members of the bloodline would have different enhanced abilities such as increased strength, invincibility, telepathy, and teleportation. Etc and over the years they would be confused.  
 
He was told that his powers were believed to have originated from one enhanced human with powers similar but greater than all those after him.  
 
What eventually happened to him has been forgotten, but it is believed that at some point he mated with a normal human and produced a diluted form of the originals over the years it is believed to have become more and more diluted as the members of the bloodline reproduced with normal humans till it became more of a recessive trait with each person only gaining a small portion of their true power, but he believed that the full power is suppressed in each person but possibly accessible.  
 
Kevin had much experience in super heroics and he believed that his people could use different treatments to awaken his powers. Peter was ecstatic he finally had the chance to make his nightmares go away and solve the problems that had once driven him insane.  
 
They soon began exposing to different types of proteins and chemicals, which they hoped with, release some dormant powers. In time his physic powers were becoming far stronger and his physical powers were growing to. 
 
 However Roberts and the organization would become more and more secretive. He soon used his psychic powers to discover that the company wanted him to help them take control parts of the world and increase their own power and monopoly and Peter was a tool they intended to use to get that.  
 
He attempted to escape, but Kevin stopped him and pushed his next improvement ahead of schedule. He intends to add advanced alien  cybernetic enhancements to help control Peter. Peter would go on to becoming an assassin and living weapon for the company for 5 months.

 
          Over the months he had been improved even further and more powers were either add or released and he had been code named Midnightist by his superiors more as a joke than

A killer is born

 a true code name. His next assignment however came in an assassination. He was supposed to Tina as she had become an investigative reporter after his capture into the company and had spent years trying to find him and expose the company’s true agenda she had finally gained enough information to prove her finding and they wanted her dead.  
 
They sent Midnightist however his memories and personality had began to emerge and he couldn’t kill her. He returned to base were he was painfully examined for whatever caused his implants to malfunction. Soon after more work he was sent again, but Tina having realized whom he was even more influential to him and he fought back and destroyed the implant controlling him.  
 
The two of them went into hiding and she intended to use him as even further proof of the company, but he believed that would never be a truly powerful deterrent as they could easily come up with some type of cover or kill her with another assassin. He decided that he needed to destroy the company resources first put them in a position were they could not retaliate first then finish them off and he felt the best way to do this was to attack the base head on.  
 
He gathered his weapons and built new ways and stormed the building he beat his way past any and all of the agents until only Kevin was left. He intended to kill Kevin, but he revealed that he had an emergency pain-inducing device that he had planted near Midnightist heart. Midnightist was thriving in pain as Kevin decided to kill him and use his body as a map to either clone him or start over with a new subject.  
 
However before he could Midnightist pulled out a knife and stabbed himself in the heart then collapsed. Kevin was confused but didn’t really care he began to pack his things to escape, but then Midnightist revealed he had not died. He used the blade to destroy his heart implants and allow his healing factor to regenerate his heart in his panic Kevin had missed that option however he was still able to escape using an emergency teleporter he had ready.  
 
Despite not getting Roberts Midnightist had done a great deal of damage to the company and was some what satisfied. Midnightist soon decided to use his talents to fight all kinds of evil and do some good to make up for what had happened to him. 

Powers

• Cybernetics: Peter has nanobots that flow through his blood stream. The tiny machines are responsible for most of super powers and improved on his own original genetics. The technology increases his strength and speed. the technology is actually of alien origin. It is made by an unknown race of beings who's technology far exceeds those made by humans. In reality much of the most advance technologies of earth have been reversed engineered from those tiny machines. 
• 
  Super Strength: Midnightist has gone through years of improvements and implants at the hands of the company and the release of many dormant abilities. His muscle density was increase to give enough strength to lift 11 tons.
• Super Speed: He originally could run at speeds of 123 mph for two hours without stopping or make quick speed burst moving faster than the blink of an eye but doing so more than a few seconds can put incredible strain on his body.
•  Agility: He can leap a vertical jump equal to that of 26 stories, but survive a fall from 52 stories without injury.
• Healing Factor:  He has a healing factor that makes it so he survive a knife wond to the heart and regrow it in a matter of seconds. He has the ability to reattach lost limbs and also weaken the effects of pain on his body.
• Senses: His sense of smell has been increased so that he can pick up scent three times stronger than a dog and track though an entire city. His sight has been improved to see in the dark. Unlike normal human has 6 sense not just 5. His sixth sense is a danger sense. He can sense an opponents intent to do himself harm. He may not know how but the feeling has been describe like a long standing paranoia. 
• Hyxopane Production: Instead of epinephrine his body produces a chemical called hyxopane it has three times the effect of epinephrine and pumps through his system slowing his perception of time and his senses are connected to this drug and are enhanced as it flows through his veins so he cannot be overwhelmed by an one sight or odor. Hyxopane naturally counteracts fatigue toxins produced by the body meaning he can fight longer and harder than normal humans. It also is produced more the longer he needs it meaning he gets stronger the longer he fights. Although he has been seen eating and drinking he has gone long periods without food or water and is believed to no longer need to.
• Wallcrawling: He can cling to solid objects
• Intellect:He also comprehends things a dozen times faster than a normal person can  
• Teleportation: The nanites in his blood stream where able to absorb  the teleportation signaler which is a device created by the the company that opens a portal to any location in any preset dimension. It works by accessing the connective sub reality that exists between each reality. He simply has to use the open command and a location he wants to go to and he simply has to go through the portal. The device creates a portal by tapping into subspace the invisible dimension connecting all realities. If he give the command "open" followed by "shut" he can close the other end of the door way and end up in subspace. The reality is completely different from earths and is in fact malleable and can be bent and twisted to a degree but the reality is actually sentient and can control itself.
• Organ storage: The nanobots in his bloostream are able to break down devices into their individual cells and then re-assible them outside the body. These cells are stored in his organs and bone tissues. He can only store up to eleven weapons in his body each going to a different organ system (ammunitions goes into his bones) his body will not store anymore and if it does the cells may halt to many of his bodily functions. While the weapons are stored in his body they can be improved on by his nanites.
• Quadruple jointed: His limbs can bend and contort so well that he can with stand attacks that would break a normal humans limbs without the need of his healing factor
• Mental Distraction: Via concentration he is able to force a persons mind to ignore him or see things that are not there. He can use this to make a person simply not look at him in combat. However he must make eye contact to create the illusion and once the illusion vanishes he must regain eye contact to use another. Also it is less effective when used against a large number of opponent but this effect can be used to block his mind from even the greatest telepaths.
• Hemisphferitas ( Hemisphere Savageness): Midnightist brain is extremely complicated. The nanobots have made it so that he can shut of the left side of his brain from the right and switch the majority of power to the right. This shuts off most of his logics and thinking and causes him to act out of pure driven instinct. The nanobots however take over the functions of the left. This actions causes Midnightist to act in a berserker yet calm mode. He becomes 100% focus on combat and nothing else. This causes his power to determine his opponents moves to increase greatly. It is believed he can also not truly see in this state. He can quite literally only see the various combat methods he will use and not the actual target itself. The nanobots process all other stimuli such as visual and auditory  and navigate his body.

Gun skills

He often uses guns and knives but has used guns, explosive, rounds, knives, grenades, flash-bangs,shuriken and a specialized fighting staff/collapsable baton that can break into to. He prefers this as he tries not to kill his foes. His huge pent house sweet also acts as both a home base for him as well as holds his massive arsenal of weapons. Many are secretly hiddine through out the complex to be used in case of invasion. He can often be seen carring specialized weapons such as stun knives that send electrical charges to an opponent. His skill and aim with weapons is incredible as he has been able to beat and kill copies of, Wesly Gibbson, Bullseye and Deadshot and was even able to mimic their own skills so like them he can never miss, use any object as a weapon and even curve bullets. He also now has a pair of taser gauntlets.  He was given a highly advaned tank. The amount of weapons he contains at any given time is unknown, but he has shown some strange skill in being able to conceal his weapons and has nearly pulled them out of nowhere.
