I'm 16 years old, and I'm currently attending high school. When I graduate I'm going to go into either comics or video games. My favourite characters are Spider-Man, Nightcrawler, Runaways, Moon Knight, X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Daredevil.

Yep, that's me!

Harry and the old man
CHAPTER ONE: NO COUNTRY FOR YOUNG MUTANTSHarry Jacket was orphaned at the age of 6, when his parents were killed in a car accident. Harry was then sent to live with his older sister, who was old enough to look after him. Harry then continued to live out his life normally, until one day he was unexpectedly attacked by a gun-wielding assassin. In the ensuring chase, Harry found out that he could somehow fly, and had super strength. Harry was saved from the assassin by a mysterious old man, who then left once he realised that Harry was alright. The next day, the old man approached Harry, and offered to train him in his newfound powers. Harry reluctantly accepted the deal, and began his training with his master in an abandoned construction site.
CHAPTER TWO: MASTER AND PUPILAs his training progressed, Harry found out that his powers came from the fact that he was a mutant.

Cyscott trying to manipulate Harry
Along with his flight and super strength, Harry had a third, much stronger ability: he could telepathically link his mind to that of any molecule or molecules made of an earth-like substance (such as dirt, sand, rock, mud etc.) and telekinetically control it. This meant that Harry could create sandstorms, move rock in any way he wanted, manipulate the dust molecules in the air to form weapons made of rock, and many more things. After the old man decided that Harry's control over his power was sufficient, he gave Harry a costume and a name: Meteorite! The old man then finally revealed his identity: he was a supervillain called Cyscott who was training Harry to replace him. Upon finding this out, Harry tried to attack Cyscott, but before he could, Cyscott set off bombs in the skyscraper they were in, endangering some hostages he was holding. Harry then proved himself a hero by saving the hostages at the risk of his own life, but Cyscott escaped before Meteorite could stop him.
CHAPTER THREE: BIG CITY HEROAfter the escape of his mentor and the revelation that he had been used all along, Harry talked to the one person he could: his older sister. Although she was also disgusted that Harry had been trained solely to take over as a supervillain, she suggested an alternative: now that Harry was in control of his powers, he could become a hero and save people. At first Harry dismissed this idea, but he was soon forced to put on his costume and become Meteorite when he was attacked by the gun-wielding assassin who had attacked him before. The assassin revealed that his name was Hartigan and that he had been hired to kill Harry, but didn't say why. After a close fight which Hartigan nearly won, Harry realised that it was his responsibility to use his powers for good and protect innocents.

The fight begins!
CHAPTER FOUR: GODS AND MUTANTSMeteorite spent the next few weeks trying to find out why Hardartist had been hired to kill him and fighting minor menaces. Whilst flying around the city one day, Meteorite ran into the god Hardartist. Both were immediately suspicious of the way the other concealed his face, and assumed that the other was a villain. After some questioning, Hardartist and Meteorite both started fighting each other. The fight between Meteorite and Hardartist raged for hours, taking them to both the centre of the earth and outer space certain points. Despite this, they both eventually realised that the other was a hero, and parted ways after apologising.
CHAPTER FIVE: BLINK AND YOU'LL MISS HIM

Aside from having super speed, Quicker Than Silver was also a weapons master
Harry was still determined to find out why he had been attacked by Hartigan, and started looking for clues as to who exactly Hartigan was. After months of research, Harry found out where he could contact Hartigan, and did so, eager to question his would-be killer. Upon arriving at Hartigan's "office" (i.e. an old flat) Meteorite found Hartigan literally being kicked out by a man with superhuman speed. The man wouldn't reveal his name, but an alias: Quicker Than Silver. He then explained that Hartigan had been hired to kill him and that he was going to kill him in retaliation. Since that wouldn't work for Meteorite, he was forced to fight Quicker Than Silver. Despite all his powers, Meteorite was quite easily defeated by Quicker Than Silver, who had him outmatched in both speed and fighting ability. But since he held no grudge against Meteorite, Quicker Than Silver decided not to kill him, and went to go kill Hartigan. Unfortunately for him, Hartigan had escaped during the fight. Quicker Than Silver then left, leaving Meteorite back to square one.
CHAPTER SIX: TALON IN THE HOUSEWith Hartigan gone, and no other leads as to why he had been targeted for murder, Harry focused on his social and school life more and his superhero life less. That is, until the day when he was targeted for murder once more. This time, the deadly mutant Talon/X23 had been sent to kill him. With her heightened senses, she found him easily, and Meteorite and Talon started a long and bloody fight. During the fight, Meteorite sensed that Talon was reluctant to hurt him too much, just as he was reluctant to hurt her. During a pause in the battle, he questioned her as to why he was being targeted. Talon revealed that HYDRA had forced her to kill him, or her brother would be killed. Not wanting to be killed or become a murderer, Meteorite suggested that they save Talon's brother, which she agreed to. Meteorite and Talon then broke into one of HYDRA's bases and raided it. After finding Talon's brother XL, the three teleported out using Talon's sword Gemini to avoid the base of HYDRA's army, before Meteorite and Talon parted from their team up. Unfortunately, this left Meteorite with more questions: Why did HYDRA want him dead? How far were they willing to go to stop him?
POWERS/WEAPONSEarth ManipulationMeteorite's most powerful mutant ability is the power to control and manipulate anything associated with the element of earth. Substances such as dust, sand, rock, mud, or even some natural metals can be controlled by Meteorite. This works by Meteorite telepathically linking his mind to that of an earth molecule (or multiple molecules). Once he is telepathically linked to the molecule or molecules, Meteorite can then move it, mold it into another shape, separate it from other molecules, and many other such things. This power extends to natural metals as well. Meteorite has a limit on the number of molecules he can link his mind to at one time (about 2 metres squared of rock), but his limit constantly improves with practice.
FlightMeteorite can fly at speeds of up to 80km/h, but flying at this speed tires him out more quickly. Meteorite usually flies between 40 and 60 km/h, as he can fly for roughly an hour at those speeds before he starts to tire. The slower he flies the longer he can fly for. Meteorite's flight presumably works by some form of telekinesis, the same which he can use on the earth element.
Super strengthThe third of Meteorite's powers, Meteorite's strength is in the 10 tonne range, enabling him to lift or press up to ten tonnes. Meteorite has perfect control over this; i.e. he won't accidentally break a wall if he leans on it or do anything like that without meaning to. Due to the strain on his body's muscles from using this sort of strength, Meteorite's body also produces less lactic acid than in an ordinary human, allowing Meteorite greater endurance.

Explosive disc
Throwing discsOn the sleeves of Meteorite's costume are discs, which were given to him by Cyscott when he received his costume from him. These discs come in two varieties: aero-dynamic and explosive. The aero-dynamic discs are on Meteorite's right sleeve. These discs are made of an alloy of titanium and aluminium. Since aluminium is a natural metal, this means that Meteorite can mentally control the disc in flight with his powers. The titanium in the alloy makes it strong enough to knock people out if thrown hard, but light enough that Meteorite can make the disc change direction almost instantaneously. The explosive discs are on Meteorite's left sleeves. These contain a miniscule amount of nitro-glycerine in them, causing small explosions when thrown hard. These discs are made completely of aluminium, so that they can explode easier.
