The mutant teens travle through Main, only to find trouble. They battle the Orphan Maker and save a kid from mutant haters. In the end, the kid was only born disfigured.

At the school, Chamber and Penance share some apples!

If you've read the last 3 issues, then read this one too. More great art from Bachalo!

Penance battles Generation X, only Generation X is trying to help her, not hurt her. Penance only knows hurt, so she lashes out at anyone.

We see more character development. Husk tries to hard to be the hero, olny endangering herself and others. Jubilee and Synch are teamed-up and prove to be a powerful pair. Later, Chamber clams down Penance and the two share a moment.

If you are following Generation X, this yet another great comic book. stay tuned; it gets better!

To start off, Jubilee and Synch are two of my favorite Gen Xers. They are two of a kind. They give the story humor and a realism touch. Scott Lobdell, one of my favorite writers, is fantastic at characterization. In this story, we see friendship and a blending of relationships. Jubilee and Synch have been close friends from the start. We see Jubilee's frustration with Gateway, as he was

responsible for her membership with the X-Men. She wants answers as to why he brought Penance to Generation X's doorstep. Knowing her past, Banshee lets Emma Frost know that if she ever plays mind games with him, it will be her last mistake. Emma is on M's case due to M's mysteriousness and that she knows everything and seems to be one step ahead of everybody else. Like that M knows about Emplate, a villain that has never made an appearance in till now. Husk and Skin are playing scrable and using offensive words. (They are really just flirting.)

Penance breaks free and the team tries to bring her back.
Emma Frost is seemingly triyng to manipulate M.
Also, a villain will soon make an appearance, one that done evil deeds in awhile.

Another great issue by Scott Lobdell and Chris Bachalo.

First of all, I want to say that Scott Lobdell and Chris Bachalo should do all X-Men comics. They make a fantastic team.  Generation X is a good place for new readers to start. Even though mainstream characters and story lines cross through once in awhile, Generation X is still sparate form that of other X-Men titles. This is also a good comic series for young teens , via it deals with teen mutants and how they learn to use thier powers in a world where they are hated.

This series takes place right after the Phlanax Covenant. We meet all of the studants; Husk (Very smart and wants to become an X-Man. She has the ability to husk her skin for a new form.), Jubilee (A member of the X-Men and Wolverine's sidekick), M (beautiful, mysterious, smart, and powerful), Banshee (Headmaster), Chamber (lost his upper cheast and lower jaw due to his biokinetic power stored inside), Synch (one of the most powerful members due to his ability to use any mutant power within range), Skin (has elastic skin), Emma Frost (former White Queen reformed???), Gateway (just drops by here and there), and then there's Penance!  Also the arrival of a new mysterious evil villian!

Chris Claremont is one of the best writers of his time and the same goes for Frank Miller's art. This story is about Wolverine and his animal rage . Lord Shingen disproves of Wolverine but knows that his daughter, Mariko, loves him. Wolverine must prove his honor by fighting Lord Shingen with wooden swords and not his claws. Wolverine is good with a sword but Shingen is far better. Shingen gets several hits in making Wolverine mad. Wolverine uses his claws, as he lets his animal side get the better of him, and Shingen defeats Wolverine.

Everyone I thought I count on, has let me die. Everyone I thought I could lean on, Has made me cry. Everytime I close my eyes there's nothing there. Feeling empty is all I have left, There's nothing else to bare. And I realize, that I've lost my mind. And I realize, that I am the lie. It's over, my time to shine. I'm already dead, so why can't I die.
