<p>So… I started reading comics when I had some pocket money to spend and ended up getting Thor No.314 instead of sweets! At that time in the UK, and in my little town it was quite hard to collect any title in sequential order so I pretty much just picked up whatever I could find! If I managed to get the following issue that continued the story line I was reading then I was in luck but most of the time I’d end up with odd issues and broken story lines… but I loved them! I only really read Marvel with X-Men, Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Thor, Avengers etc being the easiest to get hold of. After a few months the little shop I got my mags from started getting a run of Daredevil comics in and this quickly became my favourite… and still is!</p><p>Other favourites would always be characters or titles that I didn’t get to see that much… things like Doctor Strange, Namor, Black Bolt &amp; The Inhumans, Cloak &amp; Dagger, The Black Panther etc etc. </p><p>I got to the stage when I thought I had to grow up and sell all my comics when I was 19, and yes I do regret it!!! I’ve always kept half an eye on the comic world and often caught up with what’s going on with friends and even though I never got back into buying single issues I did start re buying some of my old favourites in graphic novel form about 6yrs ago. This has led to me getting quite a few of the more recent story’s along with some classics I missed from the early 90’s!</p><p>So that’s about it… if you’ve got any recommendations of stuff I NEED to read, let me know!</p> This user hasn't filled out their real life biography yet.
