I guess the question was kind of rhetorical. I know why you lock threads. When it starts to carry over into people's blogs, though, I'd call that trigger-happy and yeah, a little Nazi-ish, Red. If you see something that says "Blog post" in parentheses, and it's locked... that's one that I'm talking about.

Isn't that taking things a little too far? How do you justify that? It's someone's blog. I could understand if there was profanity in it or something, but that's not the case. Sure this is going to be locked to. Between that and everybody complaining about things in the Off-Topic forum being, well... off topic, I'm not really sure I get this place anymore. That's all.

Yeah, I dunno if the death penalty is appropriate here, IMO. I'm usually all for it, but when it's this messed up, and this is 100 out of 100, she's gotta' just be completely insane. Basically everyone at the scene is in therapy now.

I really can't think of a sport that I don't like at least a little. NASCAR and bass-fishing, I guess. Maybe all those "extreme sports". Everything else is fair game.

RIP, Vernon Forrest, age 38, aka Shane Mosley's kryptonite. Killed in a carjacking. Not sure what is going on in boxing right now. An Indiana boxing promoter that my family worked for for a few years also passed away yesterday at age 36. This after Gatti and Arguello.

How did hypnosis come about? I mean... someone had to be the first to do it. What the hell did they think they were doing? There's no way they knew what was going to happen. Were they like "Hey, check out this new shiny pendant I got, baby! Could you bark like a dog for me? Wow, I didn't think you'd actually do it."
