Hellstormer replied to the topic Thunderstrike 9:36PM
These two pages both deal with Thunderstrike/Eric Mastersonhttp://www.comicvine.com/thunderstrike/29-7611/http://www.comicvine.com/eric-masterson/29-29920/This page deals with the MC2 Universe version of Thunderstrike, Eric's son Kevin.http://www.comicvine.com/kevin-masterson/29-10230/I think it'd be best for them all to be one page since we're not separating by universe or aliases.

Hellstormer replied to the topic Justice League? in the Clint Barton board. 6:50PM
O wow didn't see this topic. I was the one who added him to the roster because he is considered monumental by being the only Marvel hero ever to be in the Justice League. I feel that its an important piece of trivia so I readded it.

Just saw it and I loved it. I thought it was twice as good as Iron Man and thought Norton was great. It was so hard to remember he was Derek not too long ago. The Leader makes a very small cameo appearance, but he isn't green. Overall the move was great. 8/10.caption

Hellstormer created a blog Hellboy 2 All the Way!! 8:07PM
I personally am looking forward to The Dark Knight, Hellboy 2, and Incredible Hulk, but I think Hellboy 2 will be the best sequal because Hulk isn't a sequal but a revamp and I think that TDK might be overly hyped but it'll still be good.caption

Hellstormer created a blog 2.0 10:26PM
Well first off I just wanna say that my last post was a lie and I don't think I'll make it to 30 by the end of the month mainly cause I'm having trouble finding time to make submissions. Secondly, I'd like to say I'm excited to see 2.0, but somewhat bummed out. A lot of the things I was hoping to see weren't added. In fact nothing I suggested ...

Kevin Black was born into a family of ordinary wealth and had an ordinary life. He always joked saying he was the only person in high school happy with his situation. One day while he was helping decorate the school for Prom he came across a large crowd of people gathered around a campfire. Suddenly he got knocked out from behind and when he was awoken he couldn't move. There was a man in front of him saying something he couldn't recognize and he noticed an odd red ring on his finger. Out of nowhere is surroundings changed and he was in some place he can't even described, it was incredibly hot, like everybody's worse nightmares in one. He spent six years of his life there managing to survive with what he could and making use of the most basic tools and resources. One day when he was hunting he got pulled back. He doesn't know how, but it was day time. He was so happy because it had been so long since he saw daylight. A group of people starting yelling, but everything was still fuzzy. "He's coming too" a man said.

"What's going on?" Kevin said

"We found you here when we arrived. We thought you were dead." The man said.

Kevin looked around and saw the scene that transported him all those years ago, but nothing had changed. He felt hot and incredibly strong, but it was like no time had passed. After that day he continued his life like nothing had happen. He discovered that even though he felt like he had been in that place for years; in reality he was there for six hours. He also discovered he had incredible strength and could heal in seconds, but there was something else. If he focused really hard he could make stuff happen. Small stuff at first like a coin landing heads, but after awhile it got stronger and more drastic. When he went to college he started to fight crime in secret. He was fortunate that his classes would always be canceled when a supervillain would attack. He took on the name Hellstormer because of what happened to him and he used a modified paintball gun that would shoot rubber balls, the mysterious red ring from that night, and a Chinese samurai sword. His main weakness is his inability to withstand heat. After his experience, any little bit of heat saps his strength almost instantly. He's found his boundary is about 80 degrees before he starts to lose his super strength. Inside his helmet he put a series of fans to always keep his temperature down and all his armor is a spongy type material that can "breath", but it can still deflect bullets and withstand knife assaults to a point.

Years later Stormer discovered that his red ring which he consider his good luck charm, was actually a red power ring of the Red Lantern Corp. It turns out it channels all his anger to use as a manifestation of whatever he wants, but there's one problem: Stormer isn't a very angry person. He's able to use it, but barely so he waits for dire circumstances.

Stormer's crime fighting career was going well until he faced off against a new villain. One of a mystical origin paralleling his. The man's name was Merick and he was a member of the cult that sent Stormer to hell. Stormer was badly beaten and near death, but got away. He went on a quest to find a way to become stronger which led him to a group of mystics that helped him return to the hell dimension in hopes of getting stronger. The mystics tried for nearly a full day to bring him back and when they finally made it Stormer came through the portal, with a smile. He didn't say anything else, but he did reveal he could transform into a red glowing demonish being. The change seemed to stem from his ring. With this new ability Stormer lost the gun and formed a new sword out of silver and steel. He can hold his demon form for over an hour and it enhances all his abilities.

Secondly, I'd like to say I'm excited to see 2.0, but somewhat bummed out. A lot of the things I was hoping to see weren't added. In fact nothing I suggested made it in to 2.0 as far as I know. :( But there are some great additions, I love how easy pages are to make now, but a lot of my old HTML rich pages are trashed and its gonna take me days to fix them all. O well maybe it'll score me more points.

Yea I took a minor leave form the Vine because I kinda lost a purpose here. As more people showed up it felt like I couldn't finish all the pages I wanted to. So now I'm back and I'm hoping to get into the top 30 by the end of June. Wish me luck. :)

Can't wait for 2.0 to.

I believe in recent issues the "Teen" Titans have begone to lost steam. It seems like there's something big that's gonna happen but it's just taking too long. So now comes the original team to settle the score. The first issue was good except for the fact that we have Trigon....again. Anyway I really am reading this book for its characteristics and dynamics that are awesome. I love reading Nightwing and Arsenal together, its one of the best DC relationships. Second by far is Cyborg and Beast Boy which only makes this book twice as good. Its been so long since I've seen anything involving Cyborg being a part of an active team that its a joy to see him back. I really hope The story doesn't take the expected route and gets some fresh stories. I also hope they add the recently revived Jericho to the roster to fill it out.

So far all of the Wolf-Man issues have been remarkable with their great storytelling of a beginning hero and tons of jawdropping events. I feel like this issue falls short though relying to much on the shock factors. There's two really good "OMG!!!" moments, but other than that its just a whole bunch of arguing. I feel like this was a setup issue less than a story isse. It feels like the events that happened were just to tie up a couple lose ends. Overall its still a good book and I believe it'll bounce back.

Gotta ask though, "Why was Wolfy's head so small?"

Fearless is definitely a mini series worth checking out. The series is only a mini with four issues so you get a self contained story plus the writer promises each book will have 28+ pages and still be only $2.99. The art in the book is really smooth and cut nicely, especially the main hero, Fear. The concept is definitely creative, it revolved around an anxious asthmatic who uses a highly potent chemical that takes away his fear. If you like characters like Batman, Punisher, and Daredevil you may want to check this out.

I can't praise this book enough. Two issues in and I feel like I've read more then all six of the issues of Batman Confidential. The Wolf-Man character is definatally an old school hero much like Kirkman's other book, Invincible. In this book we find Gary three weeks into his training, he has learned to control his new form and he makes a debut as a hero and gets a new costume.

The book sets up a lot here, including hints to a base and some kind of vehicle. It was a great idea to put the first issue out as a giveaway or else a lot of people might not have bought it, if you haven't tried it yet the first issue Director's Cut is out and you should consider picking it up, hope the books hangs in there.

I'm not sure why but the entire "As the Crow Flies" arc is one of my favorite arcs of all time. And the final issue definately makes a great last impression. The way the giant ScareBeast comes and attacks Bruce at his own home and the way an injured Batman gives him the worse kind of hell just shows no matter how weak Batman may look, catch him in his house and your screwed. The narration by Batman is just so cool and they armor Batman pulls out looks super slick. Too bad, like all Winick stories, the whole ScareBeast concept was abandoned without explanation.:(
