Gladius Prime is the son of the goddess Athena and a Titan named Graxis. Graxis was born with tremendous strength even for a titan. As he grew his stength increased to where he became the most powerful titan in all of Olympus, stronger even than his older brother Atlas. Though he was powerful beyond measure, Graxis remained small in stature compared to other titans (19'6"). His relatively diminutive size made him an outcast so he left the titan community and came across the godess Athena. Athena saw in Graxis a chance to have powerful son that she could raise to be a great warrior for Olympus. As the son of Athena and the strongest Titan, Gladius Prime is far stronger than any other Titan (even his father) and may be stronger than even Hercules. Gladius' half titan heritage makes him denser and more resistant to injury than any Olympian God. Gladius is immortal and does not air, water or food for survival. His body is resistant enough to allow him to survive in the vaccum of space. He has been trained since birth in the arts of battle and is a master of all forms of combat.

Gladius Prime has a traditional suit of greek armor that is forged out of adamantine. This armor is indestructible and cannot be damaged by anything short of molecular dispersion. Gladius Prime wields a giant spear forged by the god hephaestus out of adamantine. Enchanted by Zeus, the spear is sharp enough to cutt an electron off of an atom. The spear also enables Gladius to fly. Gladius spins the spear at great speeds and it acts as a helicopter blade to give him lift and propel him through the air. The maximum speed Gladius can attain is not known, but he can reach escape velocity and leave the confines of earth.
