Looks like the word is that Taylor Kitsch will be playing everyone's favorite character, Gambit. At least we know there's a lot of love for him around here. Not sure how I feel about that. He was supposed to be in X2 and then X3 but it just never happened. I'd be worried about them using him like they did Psylocke in X3. Don't throw him in just to have him. What does he have to do with Wolvie's origin anyways? I'll admit I don't watch Friday Night Lights so I don't know how this dude's acting skills are. But RedLAMP likes the show. There's also the question as to how much acting he'd really have to do. My fingers are crossed it will turn out for the best. I know lots of folk wanted Josh Holloway (Sawyer from LOST). Maybe they just wanted to go a younger route.
There's also rumors that Ryan Reynolds (one of my fav's) will be doing a cameo as Deadpool. Hmmm...it could work. He could pull the "merc with a mouth" bit. It's too bad things didn't work out for him as the Flash. I'd be really curious if this turns out to be true.
