This post relates to: Bulma Briefs, Goku, Piccolo
So the Dragonball movie is still going full steam. While making a movie makes sense, I am surprised that they're making one. Justin Chatwin (The Invisible, War of the Worlds, a couple episode of Smallville) has already been cast as Goku. James Marsters (Buffy/Angel, Smallville) is going green as Piccolo. And Variety.com has announced the casting choice for Bulma.
Emmy Rossum has booked the female lead in 20th Century Fox's "Dragonball," based on the popular Japanese manga.
Rossum takes on the role of Bulma, whose father's Dragon Ball is stolen by Piccolo.
Story is based on Akira Toriyama's manga that has spawned graphic novels, a long-running TV series and more than 25 videogames.
Pic is shooting in Mexico and L.A
So what do you Dragonball fans think of these choices? I haven't watched the show in quite some time. I wonder what the storyline will be. How many movies will they make? I think it's going to be hard to cram so much into one movie.
Update on the Update! Apparently Chow Yun-Fat has been cast as Master Roshi!
