I'm the oldest son. Just got into college, and though i'm going through a rough patch right now, what with the unexpected transfer and all, i'm enjoying it. I have the most amazing girlfriend, and i love her to death. An i pickd a great time to get back into comics. There are some really cool things going on.

Jai is the oldest of 3 siblings. He lived a normal life up until the day he turned 16. While Jai had heard about mutants he had never actually dealt with one. That changed the day the X-men were fighting sentinals in the city he was visiting on vacation with his family. As one of the great behemoths turned there attention towards his family and procedeed to make a reach for his younger sister and brother. Raising his hands to ward of the attack, Jai was supprised when two emerald beams of energy coalesced from his outstretched hands and struck the thing. With himself and his family now a target, Jai broke away from his family, to take it's attention and attempted to hurl another bolt in it's direction. As he figured out how to get them to work, he ran smack dab into the X-men's leader Cyclops. Who ordered him to safety aboard the Blackbird before finishing of the threat. Jai and his parents where then taking to Xavier's. After a series of test it was explained that Jai was a mutant. He has the ability to passivly absorb ambient forms of energy, from sunlight to radiation to kinetic or elcetricity , which his body then uses for fuel. This constant flow of energy has caused his cells to beome super-saturated being responsible for his ability to channel out excess energy through his hands, and eyes. According to the Proffesor, Jai has the potential for Omega-Level Energy Manipulation if he can learn to control his powers and as they continue to evolve. He also has a secondary mutation lending his body above average physical stats. He is currently in the 70-90 ton range of strength. As well has having invulnerability. It's theorized by professor Hank that this is based on his body's personal energy field acting as a protection as well as super-charging his cells to give them the strength. Both are quite exited to see where this development takes him. While Jai is fascinated by the chance to train in his powers and perhaps become one of the Many super-heroes he admires. Though the world has changed Post-M Day and Civil War, a good portion of that exitement still holds.
