My Real Life
As a God I have transcended the mortal plane of existence and exist beyond life itself.
My Super Life
THE BEGINNING
Created from the bonds of creation itself, Eternus was appointed as the Guardian of mankind. When he came of age The Creator sent him down to the mortal world to protect his beloved creation. Eternus was given the Spear of Might, an item forged from the Heaven's and bonded to the world it created a conduit that gave Eternus untold power. With it he could bend the very fabric of time and change the destiny of man. Eternus always loathed his birthright, but being the first from the Creator he was alone with the mythic entity who's gentle voice educated Eternus in his grand design.
Eternus Beginning
During the decades that he spent secretly guiding man kind to the will of The Creator, he became more and more resentful of his position and longed for a new destiny, one where he controlled mankind and they did his bidding. As Eternus began to subtly manipulate his abilities when he sensed his bond to The Creator disconnected, he found that he could actually control mans mind and the will of others. He used this to create small bits of chaos and mischief in his Creators world and revelled in the pleasure it brought him. Soon Eternus began to grow more arrogant and would blatantly display his power when he knew The Creator was watching him. The Creator became angered and demanded that Eternus cease his meddling. Eternus soon learned that his Creator was more then just part of the Heaven's he was the Heaven itself and unable to set foot onto his own world. Eternus laughed at the Creator and mocked him as he spun new threads that connected everyone to the heavens and spurned them to the ground where the began to toil in sorrow with no connection to the light of heaven. Eternus enslaved the people and forced them to worship him. The Creator would rile with anger above him and tried effortlessly to re-establish his connection to Eternu with no avail; Eternus had spawned his connection to The Creator and attached it to the world itself as well. The Creator decided that since Eternus wanted so much to be a part of the world he created and to disobey his god then he would do exactly that. The Creator pulled out his rage that had engulfed the heavens and turned it to its thundery blackness and attached it to a thunder bolt, hurtling it toward Eternus and striking him in the chest. Since Eternus was born from the heavens he could not be killed but The Creator could pull his very being apart and Eternus began to disolve through the ground. He cried out in agony as he was swallowed by the land and taken deep into its core where he would be imprisoned for an eternity. Eternus felt the darkness that he had created swirl around him and cocoon him alive.
THE RISE FROM DARKNESS
The decades Eternus spent in the center of creation drove him mad, each day felt like an eternity and he felt he could find no escape from his cocooned prison. As the world above seeemed to spark to life Eternus found new determination in his hatred for The Creator. He began to try and channel his powers but with his connection lost to the heavens and the creation, he could only hear the faint echoes of the world above. Soon he realised that those above could hear his wailing moans and he sensed they feared him. Eternus began to demand for human sacrifice or he would unleash the wrath of the biles of the land upon them. They wasted no time in sending him regular sacrifices which they sent down a mountain filled with what they believed to be the bile he spoke of. The sacrifice would cry in agony as their bodies would burn to the bone and the bone to dust. Their souls would be released and Eternus would siphon them into his cocoon, each one strengthening his bond to the darkness he had been trapped in.
Eternus God of Darkness
The time came for Eternus when he had taken in enough souls that his cocoon could no longer hold him and he broke free. It melted to an ooze that swirled around his body and he stepped forth. The mountain that became his conduit the the humans also became his escape. As he made each step, the molten lava turned to a crystal blackness and he emerged, stepping foot onto the ground and finding himself in a new era. Towering beings stood, new guardians The Creator had appointed in Eternus' absence, but this seemed not to be as they took immediate notice of Eternus and turned to him. Their heads seemed to reach the heavens and Eternus knew that they were not the guardians of creation but of the heavens. Eternus felt the darkness around him move and seem to whisper to him, kill the conduits. Eternus used the darkness to make himself tower like the beings who came toward him. Their voices seem to speak as one as they told Eternus that he would not return to the heavens and they would stomp him back down to his prison. Eternus laughed at The Creators puppets. Eternus used the darkness and attacked the towering titans, forcing them to stumble back. It seemed that The Creator gave them no powers. Eternus laughed at them and began to beat them down as they swung at him, trying to capture the swift moving Eternus. He soon grew tired of the daunting fights and unleashed the darkness around him with great force. All stood dead silent as the land turned black and all became shrouded in Eternus' darkness. Never had anyone seen such a frightening blackness, souless and utterly void of life. This was all he needed, he moved swiftly, pounding the towering guardians down and breaking their bonds to the heaven. The Creator roared in anger and shot the lights of the heavens through the darkness, burning at Eternus. Eternus turned his attention to the heavens and cried out to "Is this your best, mindless beings to deny me my birth right, I will rule your land and I will bring a new hell to your creation, each guardian you spawn I will break to nothing!" The Creator rumbled in his heavens and rained down on Eternus, burning his flesh. Eternus cried at the touch of heavens tears and found shelter back inside the land. He despised being forced back in but here The Creator could not touch him. He did however succeed in one thing, he broke the towering titan guardians from The Creator and now he had no control over them. They would usher in a new era now as well and Eternus would wait to see what new chaos they may bring to feed him.
THE RETURN OF ETERNUS
As Eternus lived within creation he found that The Creator condemned those who still feared what lie beneath the land and would send sacrifices. The Creator would deny those souls who cause ill will during their life. They souls were lost and wandered the lands, creating unrest. Eternus would call for them to come to him and he began a world all his own, torturing those who still chose to worship The Creator. He soon learned that many were condemned for a number of sins and with his slaves he used minerals found in creation to forge swords, which when completed would also be the slaves prison. He forged Swords of the 7 Deadly Sins, each one able to steal the soul of man who committed such deeds. Eternus would venture out during the night when his darkness would be undetected and feed on those who carried out such ill deeds. Eternus knew that when darkness fell The Creator was at rest and for many years he would sneak from his ever growing underworld and rip souls from the damned.
Eternus and the Swords of the 7 Deadly Sins
The Creator began to notice that his creation seemed to thin and man seemed more unrest and fearful of the darkness. He knew Eternus was behind the chaos but could not see Eternus as he hid inside creation. Eternus had grown too powerful for The Creator and he feared that one day Eternus would tear down the heavens and destroy all he built. The guardians that The Creator had sent to protect the heavens still wandered creation, though they were not the highest of intellect with the broken bond they dragged with them. He summoned a single child that had been born from the guardians and offered him a single piece of the heavens and a place high from Eternus' grasp where he could cultivate his family and bare new guardians. The Creator would give each new guardian a piece of his gift in thinking that it would create balance and that no one being would harness The Creator's full gift. Eternus knew of what The Creator was doing and had plotted with the first born to bring a new era and release him from his underworld for Eternus could not venture forth during the shining of heavens light. The Creator had cursed him to burn at its very touch. Once the first born had given The Creator a new conduit for each of his gifts to man he forged a fierce bolt of heavens light and shot down the guardians that still roamed the land and shattered the land itself, creating a hole that opened to Eternus' underworld. The guardians were sucked down to Eternus' underworld and beaten down and imprisoned. Eternus rose from creation, his 7 swords hovering around him and unleashed them onto the land, bleeding all sins into the land. The first born had dispersed the light of heaven and mixed with Eternus' darkness to cloud the land. The Creator now too weak to intervene cried over the betrayal and his tears rained down on the land for two decades, breaking creation and filling the cracks that leaked into the underworld. Eternus revelled in the demise of The Creator and celebrated with the new self appointed gods, ushering in a new force of Gods and bringing about a new era in civilization.
Over time Eternus and the first born began to dispute rule over the lands and waged a fierce war. Many took the side of the first born and some that of Eternus. They battled each other in the heavens and on creation itself, destroying whatever lay in their path. Unfortunately for Eternus he had lost his connection to the heavens many centuries ago which was his disadvantage. The first born struck Eternus down hard with the light of heaven, sending him hurtling towards creation. Eternus hit the land so devestatingly hard that he fell back into his underworld where the condemned were sent and those deemed unworthy to live in the heavens. His body ached as every bone had been broken. He riled in agony at the pain and vowed to destroy the first born. It would take centuries for Eternus' body to heal being in the underworld. Time moved much slower there and he had no access to the healing power of the heavens. He grew cold and tortured every soul that had been trapped in the underworld. He hated the first born, with each death the first born would pass judgement and send the worst to Eternus just to taunt him with his power. Eternus vowed vengeance on the first born. Once again he would suffer to live in the underworld of creation but not without further torment. The first born had one who had been gifted with The Creator's gift of forge to bind Eternus with chains fused with the light of heaven. This kept Eternus bound and trapped.
A NEW WORLD
As the centuries passed, Eternus toiled in the underworld, his efforts to take over the heavens dashed by the first born time after time. Soon he found that fewer souls were sent his way and man seemed to lose interest in the gods and found new faiths. Eternus remaind uneffected by the changed in time, his underworld was still feared by many, being referred to as many different names, but the result still the same, do evil, commit a sin, spend an eternity in darkness. As Eternus found his body to finally heal from his almost fatal wounds, he found extreme discomfort in his back. One day his cries could be heard throught creation as wings sprouted from his back. The chains that bound him began to weaken now that there seemed to be little worship to the gods who spurned him back to his underworld. With his wings, he also gained new strength and was able to break free from the chains. Eternus found that being the first from The Creator still gave him an immortal ascension and he had evolved. Now reborn with wings, he had become angelic in vision though his wings did not glow with the heavens. Once again he could emerge from the underworld and those who witnessed him in flight saw him

Have you ever dressed as a comic character for Halloween (and have photos to post)?
I have no idea where the picture is but when my brother and I were little we were Batman and Robin, of course I was Batman cause I was taller and the older one lol. Ha, I found a picture of me in a bunch of ones she gave us, still can't find the one with both of us in it. This is really bad cause its from the early 80's lol.

If you had superpowers, would you go public or have a secret identity?
I would keep my identity a secret, no way am I gonna let some glorified tin can pressure me into registering or telling people who I am, or any comic book Editor and Chief for that matter, lol. You'd never have a personal life after that. Sure I might tell a couple of close friends (as a matter of fact I know 2 that I can tell and know that they would go to their grave with this secret, if they didn't they would end up in a grave anyway, ha!). Having everyone know your super and secret identity would be pointless, well at least you wouldn't have to worry about a costume anymore, imagine the money you'd save on cevlar, plus I only know how to sow buttons back on and I wouldn't want my mom fixing my costume, she'd just worry all the time, ha ha ha.

What's more important in a comic, good writing or good art?
A good story is the most important thing since I'm READING a comic, but good art sets off the comic by far and I find it really brings a story to life, if I like the art then I can really get into a story.

Do you read manga? What's some of your favorites?
I was never really one for manga until Yu-Gi-Oh! came to television, I loved the show (original one with the Pharaoh) and I was hooked on it, so I read Shonen Jump Magazine, plus I love One Piece, that is funny. I still read some of the other ones in Shonen Jump but Yu-Gi-Oh! and one piece is my all time favourite.

What is your favorite comic related cartoon?
I loved the 90's X-Men cartoon it was awesome and dramatic and over the top. The Phoenix Saga and Dark Phoenix Saga was so emotional and darned close to the comic.
I also like the Spectacular Spider-man, they artwork may not be spectacular but its in par with most of the animation in cartoons now adays but the writing is hilarious and reminds me a lot of the days with Stan Lee.
You have not written any reviews yet.
