<p>Once a Marine stationed in Futenma, Okinawa. Lance was working late when his family was murdered by a Bōsōzoku (motorcyle gang) Lance went AWOL and started beating up every criminal he came across. "Marlboro" seeing the goodness in Lance's heart decided to train him. It is later discovered that Marlboro is an immortal samurai now a drifter. He tells Lance he needs to drift beyond the reality in order to unlock the powers which lie within him. Lance thinks he just is an old preachy fool, until the day he discovers he can do more than meets the eye.
