yeah except Bruce Wayne didn't spend anytime in Gotham when he was becoming Batman, he traveled the world and such. Your basic idea is taking the first 30 min of Batman Begins and turning it into a series.

While a good idea, the premise is that because of Batman all of the freaks start showing up, they go hand in hand.  IE Long HalloweenIf you want the realistic gritty Batman go read Batman: Year One

I think Jason's age compared to Dick's is a year or two,  depending on who's drawing them

No, it's called DC is doing something fresh and interesting with their Flagship, and I for one love it, Batman and Robin by Morrison is a great series so far, and with the Red Hood back I can't to see what comes next, Gotham City Sirens is cool, especially the last issue, great writing for the Riddler, Red Robin is alright so far I never really liked TIm, Streets and ...

In Battle for the Cowl II Jason narrates how "Batman" is again the symbol of fear that he should always have been. he has a point there, in Batman's career he has functioned at his best when he was instilling fear in criminals. After his disappearances of the 90s, Knightfall, No Man's Land, etc.  he became more of a well known public figure from disappearing and reappearing after great intervals to save the city and the fear that he inflicts from being an urban legend dropped therebye criminals are not as afraid of him as they originally were, intimidated yes, but feared? I'd say not.

I believe Jason is right in Batman should become the object of Terror that he used to be, his return after this long absence and more violent methods is just what Gotham needs to maintain order in these hard times.

So IGN posted some collages of all the different characters in Battle for the Cowl and where they appear in the corresponding comics. Upon browsing the different images i came across this final one. And I cam to wonder

Why is Bane's Picture in the bottom right corner?

As we know, he's off doing Secret Six things, so why would he be involved in this whole ordeal? Then again the Six just got to Gotham after the whole "Get-out-of-Hell-Free" Card Fiasco. So maybe he'll play a role while he's here.

On a different hand, there was the time where it suspected Bruce and Bane were possibly brothers, but Leslie Thompkins' blood tests said otherwise. When she found out the results she said "Bruce, I'm so sorry" to herself. This sparks my interest after what happened to Spoiler, but that whole mess happen later (2 years in our time). And then again King Snake is supposedly Bane's real father.

I didn't really know what to expect when I started the Watchmen Motion Comic, at first I thought it was just a way for WB to make some money off of people that don't like to read, it still may be that haven't finished it yet. But it came to my surprise of how well it's made, the animation of the comic is very nice and fluid, the narrator may do all of the voices but his take in Rorschach is....haunting. The monologue at the end of Chapter II made me feel sorry for The Comedian, I've read the story several times and I never felt bad for him, I didn't hate him just never felt as sad for him for what he realized,  the journal entry captures the message Moore was trying to present in that segment, almost had me crying for Blake.

Can't wait to watch the rest.

As Watchmen has taught us (which is where the whole do they need capes came from) No they dont, but they do help, look at Batman, "No one touches my cape" he wouldn't be as Batlike without it

I have always liked reading the Secret Six, but sadly I really did not like this issue, in my mind the Battle for the Cowl issue would have been better than this filler, as that pretty much is what this issue is. The double date that happens was pretty lame IMO, sure there was a bunch of humor in this issue but most of it came from someone who isn't even part of the Six. But the humor isn't why I read this comic, sure it's a nice addition but not the focal point. The only nice thing about this issue was Ragdoll's "Dream" which I admit was very funny.

Also the lack of Catman and Bane from this issue was also displeasing as they are my favorite characters in the Six. 2.5/5

Just when you thought things couldn't get any more Insane in this storyline, Geoff Jones yet again weaves this story in a way that I was never expecting it to go. I have to say I did enjoy the story, things may not be looking so good for the marvel family as of right now, don't want to spoil anything in this review but I will say this, I was sad with the final outcome of Black Adam, really love the character but he has used up his use for now I think so a break would be nice. And who is this shadowy newcomer at the finale?

On another point, with the way the JLA is right now, it's nice to see the JSA larger than ever. Love the characters in the group, great storytelling by Geoff Jones.

Well this issue brings the Get Out of Hell Free Card storyline to a close with a giant battle on a bridge in Gotham City between The Secret Six and all the C and D list Villains that have been chasing them, its all rather chaotic.

The best part of this issue is when Bane sees Scandal Savage in mortal danger and regrettably takes some Venom, It was rather amusing seeing him Jump through the roof of a Limo and break Komodo's fingers mid flight, he then proceeded to do his signature "Your Back my Knee" while shouting out " Did you forget who I am? I Broke The Bat! And I will Break Him a Thousand Times!!" It was cool to see what bane sees when he's juiced up, as everyone in a Batsuit modified for the apporpriate figure. Scandal comments that while He may have Broken the Bat, Batman somehow broke him.

The Birds of Prey showing up for like 2 pages I felt was unneccessary.

The ending of the issue is a little rushed i felt, don't want to spoil much, but it is a little amusing, as the Mad Hatter does make an appearance, if not for being a bumbling scizophrenic the character could have potential, but then again he did design the helmets for Final Crisis.

Overall not  a bad issue, fight was good, ending could have been a little better, wasnt bad, but not exactly what I expected.

i really enjoyed the first issue of Joker's Asylum, the concept of what Joker does on the game show and the repercussions it causes make you really sit dwon and ask "who's the villain in this situation," As lets face it, all he really does is hijack the game show and cause a little mayhem, but no one is hurt in the process, evil yes, but not as evil as the reactions to his appearance.  My only complaint about this first issue is the artwork,  Alex Sanchez may not have been the best artist for this kinda story.
