My Real Life
<p>Im a 26 year old student on a 2 year leave from school:P . </p><p>just now getting back into comic books and loving every second . </p><p>recently got into altering and manipulating comic art and sketches . </p><p>I really fell in love with it and i am now considering going back to school for graphic art design . i have a beautiful and wonderful girlfriend who is always there to support me when i need it :D.</p>
My Super Life
Adam was a young boy when his father was traveling around the world as a military General . Most of that time was spent in Asian counties such as Japan and China . While There Adam's father had him go to the best schools and get the best marshal arts training of the countries he traveled too in his stay . After being exposed over years of the cultures of these Asian countries Adam became fascinated with them. He decided to go to collage to study and learn more about the history of these counties and because a historical archaeologist..Right after college Adam did exploring around the world looking in historical dig sites .In January of 2008 there was a tropical storm 300 miles off the coast of Japan . From the storm there was a Island that surfaced from the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. . Adam finding out about this news contacted his team and was able to get a private plane flight out to the island . When getting there right away Adam and his team notice very strange structures that looked a lot like modern city buildings but made from stone and had unknown writing unlike anything they have ever seen. Walking across the Island stunned and amazed on what they are finding . Adam finds the biggest structure they have come across yet . Standing in front of it he feels a strange aura coming from it ..something ...dark ..and chilling . Then suddenly ...it opens ...the structure splits in half and exposes a stairway . The stairway leads down underground in what looks like to be a tomb . Adam yells at his team and tell them to grab all the gear and lighting the can because they are going down there with him . Once getting deeper and deeper Adam and his team notice more writing but still not able to recognize or read what it says they proceed further down. As they go deeper the tomb Adam feels like they are being watched ..almost ..like something is right there next to him ..leading him right where he needs to go. Adam and his team finally get to the bottom into a big room ...while setting up the lights they notice a huge stone table in the middle ....not a table ...a ..coffin ..with gems all over it . In the center of the coffin there was a gem ..that looked like a eye . Adam wanting to get a better look at it grabs a flashlight and starts inspecting it . Right then the eye looking gem glowed brightly and the coffin lid slid open . scared and excited at the same time ..Adam slowly starts pointing the light into the opening that was exposed and sees a sword . Then sword looked like a katana but was covered in gems and the blade was a deep black metal . As he looked upon it Adam suddenly felt a dark presence grab him and hold him in place . Adam couldn't move or speak he could not even take his eyes off of the sword . The presence felt strong and as his hand started moving on its own towards the sword . Try as he will Adam could not pull his arm away and as he tried ..his hand wrapped around the hilt of the sword and pulled out of the coffin . Standing there with sword in hand the presence took him over completely and he heard something talking to him in his mind ...but he could not understand it . Then ..his arms raised and he cut down one of his team members and felt a surge a energy fill him and the sword .After killing the first member ..Adam awoke after blacking out ..to find all of his team dead and blood dripping from the sword that was still in his hand . Then suddenly the sword shot out of his hand and floated in the air . Then voice shot back into Adam's mind ..a painful and deep voice was laughing then starting to talk to him ..but still Adam could no understand . As he tried to listen the voice became more clear and he was starting to be able to understand . The voice told him that he was chosen to find the sword ..the sword of a god ..the voice told Adam his name but he couldn't hope to understand it . The voice told him that he is the god of life and death and with the sword that Adam was chosen to wield he will be able to have the ability to tap into his power . Adam ..trying to talk back to the voice said ..."why me? what if i don't want this power?" The Voice said "you will call me your Lord and if you do not want this power then you shall die and have your soul tortured for all eternity" Adam reluctantly accepted and said to the Voice "how may i server you my lord and master". As the words came out of his mouth the sword came back into his hand and he felt a strong surge of power shoot all through his body . Again waking up after a time and now finding himself in strange armor and cloak with the sword at his side in a sheath. The Voice again talked to him and said " You are now my agent of death but the power you are able to use now is not strong enough for what i need from you." " You will go out and gain the strength and experience needed for the quest i need you to complete in the future . " Adam says submissively " My lord what is this quest you speak of" The Voice says " I cannot reveal that to you at this time not until you are ready" Adam asks "How do i gain this power that i need?" The voice says " Kill....kill the strong ...drain their life energy and gain their strength." with that sword you can tap into my powers . you are stronger, faster and more agile and durable then you ever were before , you can drain life energy just by simply touching a living being or creatures or being close to them . ." the voice goes on " the energy you drain will make you stronger and allow you to tap into more of my power it will also make you faster and heal wounds " " If you focus through the sword it will allow you to drain even more energy , as you fight your enemy every cut will drain them ..make them weaker while making you stronger" the voice tells more of the power that he has given Adam " You can also focus the life energy out and heal others wounds or when you get stronger even bring the dead back to life . you can also use that energy to make things such as plants grow or make a person or animal stronger " "Be warned if you use too much you will weaken yourself greatly and will need to drain more energy to gain strength back . I also warn you if you stray too far from the sword if it comes out of your grasp you will quickly weaken but remember that at anytime the sword is away from you . you can call it back to your hands"The voice now louder and booming says Now my agent of death ..take out the sword and name it for the name already given it is not able to be spoken by mortal beings" Adam takes out the sword and looks apon it i will call it Vis'kag the Bloodletter" The voice says "What will you call yourself my agent" * Adam thinks as he looks at his armor* "Deathshroud ..i will call my self Deathshroud"The voice commands "Now go Deathshroud and gain the power and become what you are destined to become " With those final words the voice disappears and Adam now known as Deathshroud stands with sword in hand Thinks upon the decision that he has made.After leaving the cave Adam now known as Deathshroud had to find a way off the island . The only choice he had ..was to kill the rest of his crew and make the pilot fly him back to the main lands . As soon as the plane landed Deathshroud drain the life from the pilot and then made his escape into the city of Tokyo .Once in tokyo Adam found a hotel and checked in ..In the room he place the sword on the bed and laid down. With his eyes closed for a little while starting to dream Adam started to see visions . Visions of the cave , the casket, and his dead crew flashed through his mind . Then right before him he saw the sword then it disapeared ..and all that was left infront of was the image of the round gem that was embedded in the bottom of the hilt . Them vision of the gem was getting larger and glownig red ..and then he saw a symbol in the center of the gemit was bright red and flairing with energy . As Adam looked upon it he felt his hand burning and as the burning got more intense the light from the symbol got brighter and he heard the voice of his masters but he couldn't understand what it was saying . The burning of his hand was so intense it woke Adam for the dream. Out of breath and cover and sweat he looked down at his right hand. He saw the same symbol from his dream burned into his flesh . Adam staired in Horror and in awe of what he was looking at because what he was looking at he has seen before . It was something that he has seen before in his studies in japan as a child. His sensei had a old scroll in which he saw this symbol in it . Sensei told him great stories of a world much like our own in which different Gods of that world were in stones called Runes . Sensei went on to say they're are 27 of these Gods and they are called the True Runes . From the scroll the story saysIn the beginning, there was "darkness."Then, the "darkness" shed a "tear."From that "tear," the brothers Sword and Shield were born.Shield claimed it could defend against any attack. Sword claimed it could slice through anything.The brothers began a legendary battle. At the end, both Sword and Shield shattered.Sword became the sky, Shield became the earth, and the sparks from the battle became the stars. As for the jewels, they fell to the ground and became the True Runes--The runes that all other runes were born from.Remembering what his sensei told him and the passages in the scroll Adam knew he had to find out more . Adam knew now he has to get back to his warhouse in Oklahoma. For the scroll is there and so is the truth of what his master really is and what his powers are capable of . to be continued POWERSDeathshroud powers are still in the very early stages. They were given to him by a ancient god of who's name he does not know by wielding a sentient sword that he calls Vis'kag the bloodletter. From what he knows of his powers he is able to drain life energy/force and also put it into living creatures . with just the power he is able to tap into from his master through the sword, he has magically enhanced strength, speed, durability and agility . These powers increase over time the more life energy/force he absorbs and the more he uses his masters power. Deathshroud can also use the life energy/force to heal almost any wound as long as there is enough life energy/force for him to drain depending on the extent of the wound . he can also use his own life energy/force to heal if there is not enough for him around to drain but this process weakens him significantly. Deathshroud can also absorb life energy/force from a enemy or life around him to increase his strength , speed durability and agility for a short amount of time until the energy is used up. he can also Drain from living creatures or beings from around a 15 to 20 foot radius but the drain is significantly slower. From what he understands he can also put life energy/force info living beings...he was able to take a maple tree seed and make it grow into a full grown tree but because he used his own life energy/force it drained and weakened him to which he had to drain the life from the very same tree to regain what he lost. Deathshroud can also heal others in the same way. SKILLSBefore gaining the powers from his master he was trained in many different marshal arts such as Kung Fu . Aikido and Karate as well as Japanese sword fight arts of kendo and kenjutsu. besides his skills in fighting he also a good tactician from the years he spent with his father who was a military general.EQUIPMENTVis'kag the bloodletter is the sentient sword in which Deathshroud wields that he is able to focus his powers through as well has use to drain his enemies with every cut. If the sword was to impale a enemy he can use it to drain them completely in a much shorter matter of time then just touching them. if the sword is out of his grasp he can also recall it from around 30 yards. the blade is black as the night and the hilt has gems in it with black wrap around the handle . Deathshroud armor helps protect him from physical , nonphysical and magical attacks. which adds to his durability and resistance that is already given to him from his powers. It can also change itself into any form of clothing he can imagine . Deathshroud also carries throwing daggers that have very thin but strong steel cables (about 30 feet in length) attached to them from which he can throw and drain energy if they go into or wrap around a living creature or being . But the further he is away the slower the drain of life energy/force.WEAKNESSESBeing disarmed is one of his greatest weaknesses . If Deathshroud has the sword removed from him for a extended period of time it will weaken him dramatically to the point that he is almost powerless. during the time that he is disarm he still has his powers but is not able to drain any life energy/force and as he uses more he is speeding up the process that is weakening him . if Deathshroud is fully drained of power he will be at a weakened state until his body can recover in which after that he will be no different then a normal human. Deathshoud other weakness is if he is in a area that has no life energy/force to drain or not able to he will use up the energy that he has stored or his own in which he will weaken over time from extended use of his powers .
