  • Seeing as how he was an Alternate reality version of Deadpool who is now in the current comic universe...yes, he does.   If he was still in the zombie universe it would have been different, and I'd say "no he doesn't" however since he's in the 616 universe then yes I would have to say "Yes". So as long as all these alternate versions of Deadpool (Major Deadpool, Lady Deadpool, Kid ...

I'm a mercenary in an alternate universe who will gladly do anything for a price (Ladies I mean ANYTHING).

My only comic book appearance was in one issue of Batman / Superman annual....but I'm working on it. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find work when your nothing more then a rip-off of a certain Merc with a Mouth, who is a rip off of a certain mercenary from the DC universe. So that makes me a rip off of a rip off..... in short, life for me sucks. Work has been kind of slow in my universe, so I'm currently living with my star wars loving little buddy Mole. Hopefully he doesn't mind me spending a few nights on his couch.....nah he's my buddy he couldn't care less.....Here are some pictures of my appearance in the DC universe...enjoy it because it's probably the only time you'll ever see me in the comics.

So I recently heard that one of my favorite Graphic Novel series is planning on becoming three movies

All I have to say to that is, "Please God, don't let them screw this up!!!" With the recent trend of every single animated film being CGI this movie needs to stand out and go back to the roots of animation and be done in the traditional hand drawn style. Not only would that mean that the book and the movie look alike in almost every way, but I noticed that the Bone characters look great flat and 2-Dimensional, but not so good 3-Dimensional....this proves my point...
You can't say that doesn't look horrible....sure the animated movie would be more smooth and textured but it's not those problems that make these characters look ugly, it's the design. It's obvious that no matter what, this movie NEEDS to be done in the traditional hand drawn style.

But I'm not here to rant about this movie, I'm here because I'm going to give you readers my casting ideas for all the main characters in the series. Why did I rant about it needing to be animated? Well mainly because that plays an important part in casting, your not looking for looks your looking for sounds. So it's not "who looks like Fone Bone?" it's "who talks like Fone Bone should?".

You'll also noticed that almost all my casting decisions are popular voice actors, why? Well mainly because they have experence bring fictional flat characters to live and making them sound authentic. So with out further hesitation......

DEADSTROKE'S CASTING FOR JEFF SMITH'S BONE MOVIE!!!!!

FONE BONE = JAMES ARNOLD TAYLOR

James Arnold Taylor is a famous voice actor, you may know him as the voice of Harry Osborn in the television series Spectacular Spider Man.  That voice right there is perfect for Fone Bone, it's childish but can also be mature in points. Go and listen to any of the episodes with Harry Osborn while looking at this picture.....you'll see why I picked him.

 PHONEY BONE = NOLAN NORTH

Another famous voice actor, you may remember him as Raphael in TMNT. However that's not the voice I think of and think of Phoney Bone. I think of the voice he used in Hulk Vs Wolverine as Deadpool. Cut out the constant joking and make that voice more serious and you got Phoney's voice, go and watch the short film and listen when Deadpool is talking, and make that voice more serious...... you'll see why I picked him.

SMILEY BONE = ROB PAULSON

When you guys hear Rob Paulson you may think Pinky from Pinky and the Brain....and I do too. Pinky and Smiley are a lot alike except Smiley is a little more smarter then Pinky. However the Pinky voice isn't the voice I hear when I think of Smiley....I think of the voice of Fowlmouth from Tiny Toons. Seriously make that voice a little more mature and you got Smiley Bone. So go on youtube or whatever, and watch an episode of Tiny Toon's with Fowlmouth and listen carefully.....you'll see why I picked him.

THORN = MICHELLE TRACHTENBERG

Okay this is the only time I posted a actress that looks like the character she's portraying. Mainly because since Thorn is human you can pick someone who looks like her. Michelle Trachtenberg looks a lot like her and she's slowly getting into voice acting so that's a bonus as well. Also the movie need at least one actor or actress that regular movie going audience are familiar with.

GRANDMA BEN = TRESS MACNEILLE

The Warner sister Dot may come to mind when you think Tress Macneille, however Tress Macneille did the voice of a crazy old lady disguised as an innocent old lady called Hama in the show Avatar the Last Airbender. In the beginning of that episode Hama looks so innocent and talks like an innocent old lady and that voice is the voice I think of when I think of Grandma Ben. She may appear old and fragile, but she is one of the most toughest people in the series and I think Tress could sell me on that personality.

THE GREAT RED DRAGON = JAMES EARL JONES

Who wouldn't want to hear Jame's deep basso voice as the great Red Dragon? Think Mufasa from The Lion King, those characters are very simillar. Both are giant ass kickers, both are powerful beings who are feared by a lot of people, and both act like protectors to the main character. However unlike Mufasa, the Great Red Dragon doesn't die at the beginning of the series. Go watch any scene with Mufasa from The Lion King and you'll see why I picked him.

ROQUE JA = RON PERLMAN

Hellboy's voice is perfect for the giant mountain lion who only wishes to join whatever side of the war is winning, but also staying out of the war as much as possible. Go watch the animated Hellboy series and you'll see how perfect a match Ron Perlman is for this role. Heck look at the picture in the link I put up....he even looks like a deadly mountain lion.

KINGDOK = FRED TATASCIORE

Kingdok Smash!!!! Seriously though, Fred has a knack for playing powerful characters who aren't the brightest characters in the book. While Kingdok isn't completely stupid he is powerful. He's the voice of the Hulk in almost every Marvel animated movie and voiced Beast in Wolverine and the X-men. Find a way to mix those voices together into one and you have Kingdok.

THE HOODED ONE = TRESS MACNEILLE

Hold the phone and the Mayo, I thought Tress was going to play Grandma Ben? Well why can't she play both? Again I'll say the episode she appeared in Avatar the Last Airbender where she played Hama. While an innocent old lady in the first half in the last half she played a psycho nutcase. Her voices almost change in a small way, in the first half Hama sounds old and frail and could break any minute...while in the last half he voice sounds like a power craving straight jacket model. That's what the hooded one is, a power craving old woman. Go and watch the last half of that episode and listen to Hama's voice when she goes crazy and you'll see why she's perfect for the hooded one.

LUCIUS DOWN = STEVE BLUM

Steve is most famously known for playing Wolverine in Hulk vs Wolverine and Wolverine and the X-men. The voice for Wolverine is almost perfect for Lucius Down, although Steve may have to make Wolverine sound more like Old Man Logan should since Lucius is an old man. The Entire time I read the book I pictured Lucius with a raspy Clint Eastwood type voice, and Steve can provide that.

TED = ROB PAULSON

What Rob again? Well I'm sorry but when I think of Ted I think of him having a country accent and Rob is great at doing characters with country accents. I think that Yakko from Animaniacs would be the perfect voice for Ted. So go on youtube and look up any episode of Animaniacs that has the Warner Brothers and listen to Yakko's voice and try and tell me that isn't the perfect voice for the lovable bug named Ted.

THE LORD OF THE LOCUST = RON PERLMAN

Sorry no picture for this guy since the book never shows the Lord of the Locust since the Lord is only a spirit and therefore has no body. But anyway yes Ron Perlman again....I'm beginning to see a pattern here again, don't you? Seriously though Ron would make a great and creepy Lord of the Locust. I remember watching an episode of The Batman called Rumors and in it he plays a villain called Rumor. The voice of rumor is so flat and emotionless that it would be perfect for the Lord of the Locust. Check out the episode, listen to Rumor's voice, you get the idea already....

Finally we've hit our last two main characters...

THE TWO STUPID RAT CREATURES = NOLAN NORTH AND JAMES ARNOLD TAYLOR.

In the book there are two rat creatures who occasionally the butt of joke in the series, they are the Laurel and Hardy or the series. One is the bossy blue one (Nolan) and the other is the incompetent annoying brown one (James). Just imagine Nolan using his Raphael from TMNT voice for the Blue one, and Jame's using his Leonardo from TMNT voice for the brown one. It's practically a comedic match made in heaven. It could work....go watch TMNT and listen to both of those voice and you'll see why I picked them.

WHEW, what a list.....I hope anyone who reads this likes it. Also feel free to post your casting decisions for some of your favorite characters in the series below in the comments.

I'm a big fan of Deadpool, anyone could guess that. Once I heard Joe Kelly was back in the groove and was going to write Deadpool again, I freaked and had to get this issue on a priority basis and I gotta say that I wasn't disappointed in the slightest.

Joe Kelly proves that he's the best there is when it comes to writing the Merc with the Mouth, and it seems like he had a lot of fun writing this issue. The whole issue is like a Micheal Bay movie, ridiculously pointless but action packed to the max. However unlike Bay, Joe Kelly has a hilariously funny intellectual sense of humor.

The whole story is nothing but Deadpool and Spider-man fighting with each other with both wit and brawn and it's hilarious. Deadpool steals the show and like he said in a recent interview they might as well reboot the series and rename it D'Amazing Deadpool. We also get an apperence of Lady Stiltman who is just as pathetic if not more so as the original.

The art is pretty good, however it seemed awfully cluttered and sometimes I had to look really hard Just to see what was going on. The artist has a great talent, however one page involved Deadpool and Spider-man fighting on top of a bus however I didn't realise they were fighting on top of a bus till I read it the second time....I'm not sure if it's the angles he drew it at or the clutter of panels that didn't make me notice that, but whatever it was it is easily made up for with the dialogue and action packed story line.

Overall If you looking for a mindlessly fun, hilariously funny, action packed extravaganza, then this is the comic for you. Pick it up and enjoy, because very rarely will you ever get Deadpool and Spidey attacking each other with "Your Momma Jokes" in a comic book.

What reason is there not to watch this movie? It's Directed and staring Bruce Campbell, and if your a fan of the Evil Dead series that alone is enough to urge you to watch this movie.

Bruce pulls off a perfect performance as a alcoholic, out of work, version of himself and its absolutely hilarious to watch. All the other actors do a decent job but most of them are pretty forgettable when standing beside Bruce Campbell. That's the best part of this movie...throughout the entire movie you can't take your eyes off him, mainly because Bruce has such a presence that keeps you watching the entire film.

The film is very fun, and balances just enough "in" jokes (that makes fun of a lot of Bruce's previous films) and jokes that are enjoyable for anyone who isn't familiar with Bruce Campbell,  The one Lemonade joke almost made me pee my pants.

Overall if your a fan of Bruce Campbell you need to see this film, if your not and need a few laughs then still check it out. If your looking for a fun B-movie then go ahead and check it out, I'd only suggest not checking it out if your looking for anything above a B-movie.

Seriously that's all I can say....meh.

I wasn't a huge fan of James Bond till Casino Royal came out, that movie is easily the best of the series. However does the sequel live up to the first movie.....not really.

There are a lot of great things in this film, mainly the actors. Daniel Craig is easily the greatest James Bond that has ever walked on screen and throughout the movie you really feel for his characters and unlike Pierce Bronson (Mamma Mia...ugh) he can easily slip away from the franchise and do other really great movies. Judi Dench is amazing as always as M and like Craig she is perfect for the role.

The story is where the "meh" falls in, it has some great scenes and moments however throughout the entire film I was confused what was going on. I'm glad that the movie literally takes place moments after Casino Royal ended, it's about time we get a Bond film with a story so long that it can't fit into one movie, however most of the time I was bored and waiting for something cool to happen.

I wasn't bored because the story was bad, but because whenever an action scene came on and something cool was suppose to happen it was ruined by poorly edited action scenes. I found out in this film, that shaky cams in fight scenes aren't the problem but quick editing is the problem. Watch this film very carefully and you'll find that if it wasn't the amount of time the camera cuts away to a different angle the action would have been just fine.

This film reminds me more of a Jason Bourne film then a James Bond film and I find it sad when someone as famous as James Bond has resorted to copying someone like Jason Bourne who is in many ways a copy of him.

Overall, rent it and watch it immediately after watching Casino Royal because that's the only way you'll completely understand this movie.

With all the crappy Hollywood remakes, reboots, and re imaginings it's hard to find anything that is original and a breath of fresh air. Friday the 13th isn't that kind of film, nothing in this film is new or original. However that doesn't make it necessary a bad movie, it still has the Nostalgia factor whenever Jason is on screen, however when he isn't on screen your usually just watching some stupid teenagers drinking, smoking, and having sex.

What Micheal Bay seems to be doing with all these remakes is trying to ground them in a realistic world, so it's almost like the events in this movie could happen. I like that idea but with the Nightmare on Elm Street remakes, I'm kind of worried. The kills in the movie all could happen in real life, but none of the kills are interesting or fun to watch. The occasional hack here and slash there but where are the creative kills like the bed kill in Freddy vs Jason

The film also has the longest opening title sequence ever, when the title Friday the 13th came up I literally said "WTF."  It's almost like after the opening credits the filmmakers forgot to mention the title so they decided to put it in 10 minutes later.

I give credit to the film makers for making the killer run, I'm sick of the slow moving killer always catching up to the victim in movie, it's one of the worse cliches in a slasher flick I can think of. In this movie Jason runs and I actually felt a little tense when he was chancing after his victims, it's great to see a killer who won't walk toward the girl so he can cut her head off, this Jason will charge at you at full force and cut your head off.

The actors are decent and do there job but all the characters are stereotypical and bland, however a few actors managed to shine in this movie. Jared Padalecki was the only character I actually cared about, Aaron Yoo was the one character I enjoyed watching, and I only liked Julianna Guill for her perfect nipple placement, However all the other characters were boring to watch.

Overall the film isn't original or brings anything new to the franchise at all, it was probably made for just a quick buck but at least it kept me entertained in some scenes. If your bored one day and need a little entertainment check it out, however I'd suggest eating a lot of sugar and watching it with your buddies because that's the only way you'll enjoy it enough to give it more then two stars.

I'm not a big fan of many animated movies mainly because hand to hand fight scenes are hard to draw and choreograph when it's an animated character. Very few animated movies have great hand to hand action scenes, Avatar The Last Airbender being one of the select few that has action scenes that make it almost like your watching a real film. If action isn't done right, then we need a good story to fall back onto. Luckily this has a good story.

The film is based on the comic book arc written by Jeph Loeb, it's interesting that out of all of the comics Jeph Loeb has written, they picked a story that was one of his decent stories instead of one of his great stories like Batman: Hush. However I'm actually surprised how great of a film this turned out to be.

The Story is that Lex Luther is president and blames Superman for going crazy because of a Kyptonite meteor that is on it's course of destroying earth. A bounty is put on Superman's head and him and Batman have to fight off a bunch of super villains and even superheros who want the cash. It's a pretty good story and simple enough to expand on.

The animation is really good and I found it amazing how much the comic and movie look alike, even to the point where I found myself looking between the two and not noticing any difference. Even the models in the movie look like the drawings in the comic book.

While this movie is suppose to be a Superman / Batman movie, I noticed that Batman seems to outshine Superman in almost all the scenes they are together. Maybe its because I love it when Kevin Conroy voices Bruce Wayne, he is great every time he does mainly because his voice has such a badassery sound to it. All the actors do great jobs portraying the characters they're assigned and it's great hearing some of the old classic voice actors return to the roles they had in the good old days....all this film needed was Mark Hamill's Joker and it would have been the ultimate reunion.

However I was kind of disappointing that my favorite scene in the comic book was taken out of the movie. There is a scene in the comic where Batman confronts Lex Luther after Superman was done kicking the crap out of him, and Batman tells him "Lex Corp no longer belongs to you, as of this morning Bruce Wayne owns this company and he wants you out of the building" that is one of my favorite scenes in the comic and they toke it out. However some of my favorite scenes like Batman saving Superman from a Kryptonite bullet from Metallo made it into the film and I'm glad it did.

I don't understand why the film abandoned some of these scenes, especially since this has got to be one of the shortest of the animated films. I'm sure some of the scene could have made it in and time not be an issue, I miss the scene with Batman and Lex Luther, Batman and Superman's group try to take down Lex in the white house, and even the fact that Green lantern wasn't in the film.

Overall though its a really good film and it all meshes together nicely, even if some of my favorite scenes in the comics were taken out. It's not the best DC animated film, but it isn't the worse. Check it out I recommend it If your a fan of any of these characters.

That's all I can basically say about this movie, if it wasn't for Ray Park as Snake Eyes then I would have only gave this movie two stars.

This movie is definitely better then Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen, however that isn't saying much since that was a terrible movie only made to show off some eye candy.  This movie however at least has a plot and no racial stereotypes and characters that are fun to watch, where Transformers 2 lacked in all of those. However the eye candy isn't all that good, and some of the CGI is terrible.

The actors all do a okay job, but Ray Park is the only person that really shines. The others do okay jobs, but they never show off there badassness as much as Ray Park does. We got some pretty funny laughs from Marlon Wayans, however Dennis Quaid looked like he was sleepwalking through the role.

The movie was kinda slow at first, but once the action scene in the middle with the accelerator suits and the armored truck in Paris started, I was hooked. That is such a great action scene that I practically forgave the crappy dialogue and decent acting. However after that scene ended I only found myself mildly hooked.

Overall If your looking for some decent laughs and one really cool action scene, then go see it. However if your looking for a thought provoking movie with suspense and tension.....you might wanna save your money for District 9.

I can't do this movie review without a few SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!! So if you don't wanna be spoiled, then don't read.

I am really pissed off, so I'm just going to point out everything I liked and disliked rather then good into a huge amount of detail.

GOOD
This movie has some great action and special effects, however those are the only things that were good in this movie. Like the first Transformers movie, whenever the robots weren't fighting I was bored. Not to mention every scenes with the humans are dull and not really funny. When are we going to get a movie as good as the first animated Transformers movie?

Optimus Prime is more bad ass, and Megatron is back.

We get more of Megatron beating on Starscream, which the first movie lacked.

I liked Shia Labeouf, hes an okay actor but here he isn't really given a range to show off his acting skills. However Megan Fox seemed like she was sleepwalking through the entire thing, and was only there for eye candy.

BAD
The jokes in this movie are childish and stupid, The one transformer humping Megan Foxes leg wasn't funny in the slightest, neither was the dogs humping each other. Few of the jokes made me laugh, most of the time I sat there bored waiting for the next action scene.

The racial stereotypes from the two twin transformers. I was kinda offended from that (And I'm not even black)the two transformers have the stereotypical large black ears and one I think actually had a gold tooth. They seemed to have made a racial stereotype of black people with the twins having big lips, large ears, gold teeth, and saying shit like "We don't read". I'm not black, but I know a lot of black people that are insulted. Sure you can say they learned how to talk from the Internet....but why couldn't they have the twins learn some other form of communication from the internet, so why did the creators chose black gangsta rapper talk over any other form? I would have rather have seen the twins with a Cajun accent, an Australian accent, or a simple dumb cowboy accent.

ONE transformer actually had BALLS!!! WFT!!! I felt sickened just by looking at it, I felt violated. Transformers shouldn't have balls....

Why is it that "Terminator Salvation" (A much better movie) had a large robot that everyone thought was a transformer, and this movie has a transformer disguised as a human (Like a terminator) Someone copied someone else. Lets see .....The first Terminator movie came out in 1984, and the first wave of Transformers toys and comics came out in....1984!!!! The pretenders didn't make the first appearance till 1988. So I guess Transformers copied Terminator.

In short, It was great for the special effect and action scenes. Everything with JUST the transformers was great but everything else was bland and boring. If your only looking for eye candy...go see it. However if your looking for brain food skip it.

What can I say about this movie that hasn't already been said....

This Is THE GREATEST COMIC BOOK MOVIE EVER MADE!!!!

Christopher Nolan has shown the world that Batman isn't a franchise that died off after Batman and Robin, he shows that there is still an audience for this type of movie. Chris Nolan has pretty much made the movie of his career it'll be hard for any of his other movies to top this movie.

This is the Batman film that we've all wanted to see, it's dark and very violent for a PG-13 movie. This movie is so violent that here in Canada it was rated 14A which is typically a low R rating in the USA. So if you have kids that are fans of Batman, please don't take them because this movie isn't for kids.

The story is pretty simple.....The Joker has appeared and is slowly taking over Gotham using fear against the cities citizens, and Batman needs to use his detective skills to bring The Joker to justice. It's simple but has plenty of room to go into greater detail. Which it does.... There is plenty of subplots like the Love triangle and Joker taking over Gotham by eliminating the crime bosses.

I can't seriously stop sucking this movies dick.....and its hard to write a review on it because pretty much everything good in this movie has been mention before in another review.

Since I know pretty much everyone has seen this movie I will end the review with this....

If you haven't seen this movie, then find a way to see it because your missing out on one of the biggest movies of our decade.

Okay first of all I'll be right up front and say, I LIKED Terminator Salvation

I hated Terminator 3, mainly because it's the same thing as Terminator 2 only with a sexy female terminator. When Terminator 3 came out and I saw it, I said to myself "Why didn't they just skip the sequel and do a prequel set during the war", well then they announced Terminator Salvation and I had to say "Finally a movie that doesn't use the same old stuff we've seen before in Terminator 1 and Terminator 2", lets face it the same old plot scheme where a Terminator is sent back in time to kill someone, and another person is sent back in time to save that someone has been done to death.

So with Terminator Salvation we can get a chance to see something new and fresh, and boy do we see something new and fresh. This movie is about as action packed as Terminator 2, the only thing it lacks from Terminator 2 is a well thought out story. The plot is that John Conner has to find and save his father Kyle Reese from Skynet with the help of a mysterious man named Marcus Wright.

It's a simple yet satisfying story with plenty of action scenes and great characters. These characters are brought to life with the help of some great actors also who all do their jobs to near perfection. Christan Bale was a good choice for John Conner however did he really need the Batman voice? What ever happened to his American Psycho voice?

The real star of this movie is Marcus Wright portrayed by the fantastic Sam Worthington. It's kinda sad that Sam actually out shined Bale when it came to this movie....but that may be because at the beginning of the movie we almost immediately feel for his character, while Bale's character takes some time to warm up to.

The Action scenes in this movie are stupendous and amazing and every time an action scene appears we are treated with some great eye candy. However the first hour of the movie, that's almost all you get....eye candy.

It's not till the last half hour when the popular terminator theme starts playing and camera pans up to reveal a young Arnold Schwarzenegger, when we actually feel like we are watching a classic Terminator movie. That one scene alone kicks so much ass that it's worth buying the DVD or paying the price for a theater ticket.

In Short, this isn't like the old Terminator movies, its a new series entirely.... Its a great action movie with a decent plot, some great acting, and amazing special effects that will bring back some old Terminator memorys. Go see it or buy it depending on the time you read this review.

Hulk vs Wolverine is the wolverine story we've always wanted with The Hulk as a side character.

The short film runs about 30 minutes in length, however if you ask me that isn't enough. The DVD should have just skipped making Hulk vs Thor and make a full ...hour and a half Hulk vs Wolverine movie. However just because I wanted the movie to be longer, doesn't mean it doesn't have flaws.

First of all for a movie where Wolverine is suppose to fight The Hulk, there is only on fight between the two and it's just a little too short. Not to mention the fact that the big pay off, the big fight at the end between Hulk and Wolverine.....isn't shown. The two jump at each other is slow motion you hopes are up and you get all prepared for the awesome fight, and it cuts to the credits....what a let down.

Most of the entertainment in the short film comes from Nolan North and his fantastic portrayal of Deadpool. Almost every seen with Deadpool is guaranteed to make you laugh and the voice Nolan provides is a really great match. Nolan isn't the only one who does an amazing job, in fact all of the voice actors do amazing jobs bringing these characters to life.

The animation is also pretty good, but it's nothing I haven't seen before. Everyone does their job the best they can, but only a select few really shine.

Overall, If you like Deadpool is worth buying....if you like Wolverine it's worth buying, But If your not a hardcore fan of either of them then it's only worth renting.
