Well at least I hope not.  If that were the case then all Blackest Night would be is a giant gimic to get all of the dead back and I'm hoping that it's much more than that.  I think that Blackest Night is actually going to prevent more heroes and villains from returning from the dead and that's why DC has brought back so many characters lately.   They wanted to get all the characters that they wanted back, back before Blackest Night started.

I'd like to see Marvel do something similar to what they're doing with there movies.  Where we would get seperate series for a couple of Marvel's toplist characters, then have them all tie in together for big event arcs.  Kind of like what they did in the 90's when the Spider-man and X-men series crossed over a couple of times. Or maybe have a show for the big three Avengers (Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man) then have their series in the same continuity as an Avengers series.

I know that they're basing the new Marvel game on the arc but what would really work would be a fighting game based on the arc that pitted the two sides against each other

i've been trying to get in dc comics for years now and the only title i can really get into is teen titans...there's just to much confusing continuity and what with a crisis coming along every couple of years and retconing all of their history it's hard to find a good jump on point...but if they were to start an ultimate dc universe with younger versions of classics like superman and batman and the rest of the justice league that would be great and it would be even greater if they got bendis and bagley in there to do a title or two or even just spearhead the whole thing
