This post relates to: Would you give up your eyesight in order to have Daredevil's powers?

Heck yeah!
I was surprised by the number of "noes". I think it would be cool. I've always felt that he was kind of cheating because even though he can't see normally, his senses more than make up for it. He doesn't seem to ever suffer from the real disadvantages of his disability. His radar plus his senses can paint a better picture of a room than most people can see with their eyes. The only time I've really read of him not being able to do something a sighted person could do was tell what color something was. That's really not that big of a deal to me. So yeah, I thought he really lucked out on the hero-with-a-disability thing, but I'd take it in a heartbeat. Of course I'd want the same control he has over them (wouldn't want to be sent to the ground just by walking down a street) but that should be a given. The peak human body would be a nice perk, but I wouldn't need it.

I haven't been on much lately, been getting ready for school (and helping freshmen do the same) in this last week before it starts. My classes (I'm a junior apparently) begin this Monday so I'll probably continue to be MIA for a little while as I adjust to my schedule and the other things I need to do.

Episode 110 - Even to a Kneecap

I've mentioned this podcast before in a thread for comic and other podcasts, and I thought I'd link this episode because I find this bullshi# entertaining. They typically talk about comics but they also talk about toys (a lot this episode) so if you don't care about toys (or the fall of Saturday morning cartoons, Dragon Ball and Chrono Trigger), skip from 13:41 - 30:37. As usual, I thought the whole thing was funny/interesting, but what made me really want to post about the show was the comic talk (30:37 - 55:59/end), which degenerated from actual comic talk, to something akin to chaos (but still comic-related). As a warning, the podcast comes up on iTunes as "explicit", and not for no reason.

This post relates to: Madrox, Who is your favorite X-character and why?

Originally it was Iceman but I moved on from him a while ago. Now it's Madrox. I just think he's interesting and has a pretty normal personality for someone in his situation. I've never thought of him as amazingly heroic or super angsty (though I won't deny that he has issues). His interactions with others (teammates in X-Factor and random characters) is fun most of the time but can also be serious and real, so that's a plus. I also think his powers are just cool. Not crazy powerful or anything, but cool (and practical). When his powers and personality started to connect (his current state where each copy is an aspect of his psyche) it just made him more exciting to read in my opinion.
