My brothers named me BigTalk many years ago. It seems to fit. I am a saxophonist (alto and baritone) here in Seattle. I've played far and wide all over the United States. I've toured France and performed in the Philippines. I've recorded on a grip of recordings and probably enjoy doing that the most. I also really enjoy programming. Mostly, I trip on PHP. A few of the sites I've been working on are on servers that are still running PHP4 so my head is there right now. I'm mostly versed in procedural programming but have been digging into OOP for a minute now (especially as I anticipate the web host's upgrade to PHP5.) I spent some of my time looking at Ruby on Rails. I haven't had the time to really get to know Ruby though. What I've been doing instead is using the Akelos framework for PHP. It's a great port of RoR for PHP. You may even use what they call "sintags" which are basically Ruby syntax. Pretty cool. I am married to the beautiful and talented Gretchen Yanover (do a Google search.) We have a daughter named Xela Willow who eclipses all other things in my life. Speaking of which, she just woke up. We're going to get her some bread with sunbutter. See ya!

When I was a child, I was visiting my grandparents in Tumelo, Oregon (near Bend) with my two brothers. During the night, we were abducted by aliens and taken into the desert.

The aliens informed us of great tasks we were to take on in our years to come. We agreed to have our bodies altered by the aliens to aid us in these life endeavors. We were informed that not only would our bodies change, our DNA would change, in effect making us human no longer. In fact, we would now be considered far more alien than human. Not only would we be changed, but any offspring we had would have these changes as well (and possibly other differences.)

I now have the power to manipulate my own mind in ways never before known to earth. I am still exploring the potential of this exciting power! I also have the ability to blast insane amounts of sonic waves in any direction I choose. Additionally, I have immense strength that I can use only to destroy things (they have gotten me some great gigs in the demolition business!) My strength seems to fail me when using it for anything but destruction. If I try to lift a train to save a cat - no go. If I try to lift a train to smash the tracks - right on time!

My only real weakness comes from what remains of my humanness. I am a sucker for the ladies. Women have been keeping me off-balance for years. Perhaps one day I will be able to shed that small part of humanness that remains in me, but until then, I walk a precarious line between being a good-guy super-hero and being a retched super-villain.

I live as a musician waiting patiently for the time that I was given my abilities for. I stay in close contact with my two brothers as we get ready.

It's coming soon... very soon.
