I just made a page for Colonel John D. Armbruster of Incredible Hulk fame. I typoed his last name as Armbuster. Could someone help put the "r" in there?  Thanks! BigTalk

@Ripster said: " Anyone here think it could be Talbot?"You make a good argument for Talbot. Can't rule him out. Though Ryker still makes a lot of sense too. We'll find out soon though. (At least that's what they've been hinting at.)

We know that Rulk is not Samson, Ross, Rick, or Ares.In the end of issue #6, Samson shoots Rick (who had just been A-Bomb) to prevent him from telling Bruce Rulk's identity. Then Ross stands over a downed Rulk and criticizes  him.Ares is active in the Avengers and has been making appearances in Incredible Hercules. He is a god.John Ryker is a good call. He did make the Gamma Corps. ...

When I was a child, I was visiting my grandparents in Tumelo, Oregon (near Bend) with my two brothers. During the night, we were abducted by aliens and taken into the desert.

The aliens informed us of great tasks we were to take on in our years to come. We agreed to have our bodies altered by the aliens to aid us in these life endeavors. We were informed that not only would our bodies change, our DNA would change, in effect making us human no longer. In fact, we would now be considered far more alien than human. Not only would we be changed, but any offspring we had would have these changes as well (and possibly other differences.)

I now have the power to manipulate my own mind in ways never before known to earth. I am still exploring the potential of this exciting power! I also have the ability to blast insane amounts of sonic waves in any direction I choose. Additionally, I have immense strength that I can use only to destroy things (they have gotten me some great gigs in the demolition business!) My strength seems to fail me when using it for anything but destruction. If I try to lift a train to save a cat - no go. If I try to lift a train to smash the tracks - right on time!

My only real weakness comes from what remains of my humanness. I am a sucker for the ladies. Women have been keeping me off-balance for years. Perhaps one day I will be able to shed that small part of humanness that remains in me, but until then, I walk a precarious line between being a good-guy super-hero and being a retched super-villain.

I live as a musician waiting patiently for the time that I was given my abilities for. I stay in close contact with my two brothers as we get ready.

It's coming soon... very soon.

Incredible Hulk Vol 2 #228
Incredible Hulk Vol 2 #228

My Dad took us down to the comic store that used to be in the Pike Place Market here in Seattle. It was downstairs. I remember looking at them all and not knowing anything about them. At random I picked up the Incredible Hulk #228. I guess it was the cover that got me. A sci-fi looking lady smashing the Hulk through a wall- must be pretty cool. I still have it too.

Most of the comics my older brother and I got after that are no more. We would cut out the characters and glue them onto paper to make our own stories. Lot's of fun for us kids, but the end of those books.

My lady took me to see the new Hulk movie today for Father's Day. It's so dope to have a partner that cares about me that much!
In short - It was flippin' GREAT!
Of course they re-created the history of the Hulk again. That's cool. If I want the history from Jack Kirby and Stan Lee's original perspective, I read my comic books.
I was pleased that they assumed that the movie viewer was a little familiar with the Hulk. We get his creation in flashbacks. They also tied in a lot from various periods of the comic book Hulk's history, (ie Mr Blue and Mr Green correspondence, Betty dating the shrink while Banner's gone, etc.)
I also like the idea of a comic book based movie playing out like a comic book. No matter how it ends, there's room for another episode. They give us an unresolved Abomination, the making of the Leader, and a hint (not too subtle) of an Avengers movie.
I loved it and I'm ready for more!

I'm reading a few comics every month right now:

1. Hulk (hasn't been out every month, but they had King-Size Hulk instead)
2. Last Defenders (it's a mini series though)
3. Incredible Hercules
4. Marvel Adventures: Hulk (designed for kids but I like it!)
5. Usually a couple issues of Tales to Astonish in digital format (I started at the beginning of the Hulk and plan to catch up to the current issues.)

I'd like to read just the Incredible Hulk, but you know Marvel won't have it that way!
