Beth Brown grew up in an average, single-parent home in suburban Virginia.  Losing a parent to cancer early in life offered her a taste of the spiritual world, whether she liked it or not.  By the age of 12, Beth was in the field with ghost-hunting equipment trying to capture messages from The Other Side.  Eventually, these messages came through - first as a trickle, followed quickly by a flood.  
 
Now, 20 years later, Beth uses her gadgets and ghost-gear to convey messages to the haunted and grieving in the living world, while bringing rest to the otherwise restless souls of the spirit world.  Her father (and spirit-sidekick) Bud accompanies her on missions and acts as a mediator for particularly stubborn entities.
