All I Can Say Is: Already?!

Hardly a week has passed since the release of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" and Fox is already in talks with Ryan Reynolds to star in the film version of Deadpool's origin story. Seems like 20th Century Fox and Marvel are really cashing in on the success of their latest film which took home a cool $87 million in its opening weekend.

According to THR.com, Reynolds is already on board to play the role of the "Merc with the Mouth,"  and Marvel as well as Lauren Shuler Donner are set to act as Producers.

How do comicbook fans of Deadpool feel about this? Following the release of the film, it seemed that fans of the Deadpool comic character were up in arms over the interpretation of the character in the film. Many felt that that the film version of Deadpool strayed from the comicbook character when he was "imbued with superpowers" and his "mouth was stitched shut."
However, if you've seen the film *spoiler* then you know the character is very much alive and the ending is left open for a spinoff. According to reports, the film will supposedly deal with the origins of Deadpool and will allow a lot of room for the witty humor that makes the character so appealing to so many of his fans.

Now that a spinoff Deadpool film seems definitely in the works; what do the fans have to say? Can they salvage this character and make him more like the comics, or did they ruin the film version of Deadpool for you?
