If in the Marvel Universe, then I would choose Captain America (Steve Rogers), Charles Xavier, or Wolverine. However, if I was in the DC Universe, then I would choose Superman, Batman, or Green Lantern (Hal Jordan). I believe all are more than capable of teaching me how to be a quality superhero.
