We raised around $5,000 for SAFE in Hunterdon, our local domestic violence organization. It was also my last day at Comic Fusion because I moved to PIttsburgh. Aquaman's sucktacular ratings in popularity is something I touched upon as well in my video review (filed under Blackest Night #2). His character and even Mera are shown with such gusto that I challenge anyone to think of him as a 2nd stringer.3 months ago

Young story but still best of the year: Only at issue #2 and I can;t imagine any other superhero story topping this. Just as a fair warning, Blackest Night: Batman #1 and Green Lantern Corps #39. -

I actually didn't hate it!: It's true. After #1, I wasn't expecting much from #2, but the characters are tying in together nicely.

Wonder Woman Day 09 at Comic Fusion was a blazing success! We raised around $5,000 for SAFE in Hunterdon, our local domestic violence organization. It was also my last day at Comic Fusion because I moved to PIttsburgh. I am still unpacking and will be for a while since the cat just is not helping at all with that chore. I hope to get new reviews up soon in between scouring the job boards for a new job. I know my internet friends are mainly concerned with when I'll get more reviews up (very soon) and get back to sewing (may be a while I unpack and set up my studio).
I have a lot of highlights from WWD on my channel including footage of Joe Sinnott, best known as one of the founding fathers of the Fantasic 4. Check out all the videos and leave comments there:

It's true. After #1, I wasn't expecting much from #2, but the characters are tying in together nicely.

There is literally one panel in this entire thick issue that is worth getting excited about. Sharon Carter holding the gun that "killed" Captain America. Other than that, there are some nice revisited stories. I particularly enjoyed the one that didn't involve Steve Rogers; it's about Patriot bumping into Ricki Barnes. As two youngsters donning the red, white, and blue, they are fresh and intriguing. I wouldn't mind a team up of the two of them away from Young Avengers.
