My Real Life
<p>5' 11" about 175 lbs., I was more like 190 and really built 5 years ago but I was in a car wreck and now I am paralyzed from the waist down. Brownish/blonde hair and blue eyes. I was out of comics until just recently, I have a lot of free time trying to replace weightlifting, running, biking, outdoor stuff and not too many options to fill it up. I basically a marvel man or was. I think they went right down hill since Bendis has started ruining all the titles and they have been killing everyone off, bringing back the dead, having heroes fight heroes and inventing stupid villians. My favorite Team was the Avengers except when Dr. Druid was on it and now. Although, I do like the addition of Spider-woman. Favorite characters are Captain America, Hawkeye (see why I Hate Bendis)Black Cat, Wasp, Spider-woman. I was a big fan of the Sgt. Fury and Sgt. Rock comics and DC's Warlord series. I do still have a huge comic collection. Although, it is pretty much unavailable to me because of my physical condition. I never really got into DC that much, I thought their heroes were always too powerful and their villians always on the silly side. I did like the old teen titans and the Titans of the 80's. I am a big fan of the New Justice League of America, Benes artwork is some of the best out there.</p>
My Super Life

Recent college Grad and owner of Multi-billion company that was left to me when my family was killed in the car crash that I got my powers in. A freak storm came upon the family when we were drivng home. Blue lightning struck the car causing us to wreck killing my parents and my younger brother and leaving me in the hospital for a year and an half. When I got out, I was under the guardianship of my grandparents until I was 18, they have now passed away. I don't tell anyone about the company and let the board of directors run it with close friends of the family overseeing the operations and my interests.  I am able to shoot a cosmic energy out of my hands like Ms. Marvel (except it is a neon blue color).  I am able to manipulate it into a net or fire balls, or darts and etc.  I don't have unlimited energy but I do have super stamania but as I tire my powers weaken!  My skin is invulnerable to knives, swords, bullets, fire and etc. as long as I mentally make it so.  Bullets and knives would damage me when I am not focused but only a minor wound unless attacked many times without me being able to strenghen my skin.  I can create a small force field for a short period of time and at limited range.  In college, I played on the football team and boxing team plus having taken several different types of martial art classes.  Alot of my abilities and powers are still new and experimental because I am still learning how to use them and their limits or lack of.

My custome is all navy blue/black except at the hands, feet and eyes that is Neon blue like the energy I emit.  The neon blue goes up to the middle of my calves and forarms in a flame pattern. My eyes are encircled with neon blue flames that look as if the energy is coming out of my eyes.  I have a gold wavy triangle that meets at the bridge of my nose and up across my forehead, it is  thin.   this is only visible from about 10 feet away and then it is very light.  I have another thin wavy triangle going across my chest.  I can cause these fibers to glow a bright gold color if I want by my channeling my energy into them.  I can make the neon Blue part's of my custome glow at night, thus giving the image to my enemies that they are fighting two blue glowing eyes, hands, and feet because the rest of my custome is so dark you would not see it at night.   Needless to say it is something to see on a pitch black night, the gold and neon blue only thing visible of me flying through the sky, I look like some kind of space alien

For what he has done to Marvel Comics!

That would depend on the hero.  Every hero has a bunch of signature villains that are mainly associated with him/her but only one is that heroes ultimate archenemy.  Examples:  Captain America -  Red Skull, Superman - Lex Luthor, Batman - Joker, X-men - Magneto, Fantastic Four -Dr. Doom.  Most of the time they make the archenemy and the hero have things in common but the villain doesn't error on the side of good like the hero.

So, I don't think you can have any Ultimate villain until you know who the Hero is.   I think a better question would be who would be an Ultimate villain for (fill in the blank) and why.  Just to ask who is the Ultimate Villain, are we talking costume, number people killed, enemies, powers and etc.  It is to vague of a question and like I said above certain villians are hero specific villians.

No Cliffhangers here!

Well, what we thought was going to happened they all turned out to be skulls!  I know some of us privately or openly wished/dreamed but we knew the trueth as soon as they landed!  If Bendis really had talent and skill, so of them would have been real!  That would really screw everyone mind up and keep them guessing wouldn't!  Or why wouldn't they have picked those heroes up and switch them and think of the problems they could have caused.  They definitely will swear through torture that they are who they think they are!  This issue kind of undermines the whole storyline up to the point so far.  They have just sacrificed all these great undercover agents, with wicked powers for nothing, when they could be in control of Earths greatest groups.

This whole Agent Brand surviving in space without a suit and sneaking in a skull ship the a unlocked airlock and defeating all the guards  and knowing skullian language is just ridiculous.  It is as bad as Fury and his BRat pack of unknown, untrained, E level heroes saving the day, just plain stupid!!!!!!!!
Also, on the 1st page of the Savage Land on panel 6 they show Echo, who was killed by the Skull spider-woman (Sloppy)!  I have such a problem with the Jessica Jones thing because she wasn't even a hero back then but then again Bendis just invents history, too!  There is no reason for the language, if Bendis can't write a story without puting the F-word in it then maybe he shouldn't write.  These are suppose to be for 13 year old children and *&*^ infront ing doesn't change what he is writing.  people have been expressing their emotions 1000 years and didn't use that kind of language and I don't think it should be used in comics!!!!!!!!!

I am not a fan of YU art and that hasn't change 5 issues in!

If you want to read a good series (I can't believe I am saying this because I use to bleed MArvel) Final Crisis is worth $3.99, this isn't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A couple of problems to start off with: The cover is totally wrong for the issue and has nothing to do with it except the last two pages of the book (this is a .75 star deduction for me).
Next, a major storyline wraps up and your star artist isn't doing the issue, although goldman did a satisfactionary job but he is no Benes (.5 star deduction)
The major battle between Amazo and JLA, alot of the panels just had one JLAer in them and not enough combination fight scenes.  I think back to the great Avengers (#177) vs. Korvac and that was how to draw a battle scene using alot of superheroes.  I didn't get how Zantanna was the only other one other than Wonder Woman to recover from the all out attack and everyone was just standing around waiting to get attacked in a group no less.  What is up with Steele, I admit I don't know a lot about DC heroes after the main ones but I always thought he was a powerhouse?  I'll just hangout here with Batman where it is safe?  Lucky WW toke the fight to them else we wouldn't have seen them and what happened to Firestorm and all his power? (.75 star deduction, should be higher but the inks were some much better this issue that last I thought I would be nice!)

The good stuff, I still love this team and it's make up!  when they did fight togehter it was spectacular and I am glad we can put the Red Tornado thing to rest!  He isn't my favorite to begin with and I wouldn't mind him and Firestorm being replaced!  It is nice to see them moving the Vixen storyline along but I think they should have used this cover for next months issue!  Need to bring Sandra Hope back on inks, it is sad it takes three to do the job of one but they did a damn good job and if that is what it takes don't change it!  I don't know much about Animal Man so I am a little nervous about the up coming storyline and I am curious where and when does Final Crisis come in to play here of doesn't it?  I like B.C, as chair woman but something has to be done in the book to make it real, Batman doesn't see her, in charge, and that was evident by the looks they gave her when she made her decision about Vixen last issue.

I still recommend this title (and Titans) to anyone, especially if they are new to DC and want to learn about characters and the artwork will keep you coming back!

Bendis could be sued by NBC

As I read this issue I had to keep checking to make sure I wasn't reading Season 3 of NBC's Heroes because that is exactly how this comic reads excepts they are being banded together to fight Skulls but it still means saving the world! The artwork is sad considering all the really great artist out there and this being your #1 story line for the year! It is pretty bad with all the heroes in MU, only a bunch of unknown, inexperienced and underaged nobodies are going to be able to stop the Skulls. I have a problem with this issue because it has basically nothing to do with the Avengers and since I subscribe to the title, I got an issue of nothing, that I wouldn't have bought. This story line should have been in one of the Secret Invasion issues not the Mighty Avengers! The best part of the comic is when Daisy Johnson agrees a black Fury is the stupid looking! I can't see why the movie industry can't leave Fury be Fury especially when you have already made a movie with him being white. As to the group that they pull together, all the characters are weak and shallow.

You have Ares's child, Ares as a character is a question mark in my opinion, and now he has a child when he just shows up as a character in Marvel Universe.

Dr. Druid's son is one of the recruits and Dr. Druid died 15 or so years ago.

A bald head guy that reminds me of Mr. Clean.

Some girl, Maybe Avalanche's daughter, whose father had earthquake powers.

The grandson of the Original Ghost Rider.

The daughter of the Griffin.

This is nothing but an episode of Heroes and it shouldn't be in an Avengers comic, don't waste you money, everything you need to know I just told you!

An improvement over Issue 1

The artwork has improved (the frames are cleaner) but there is no consistency when drawing characters. It basically comes down to either you like Yu artwork or you don't, I don't! For example, Hawkeye kisses a female character in this comic, Yu makes him look like a totally different person in next few frames in the face by giving him a square jaw. I don't understand how you can draw a character different one frame from the next and YU does this!

The issue deals with the battle between the 70's heroes from the Skrull ship and the Avengers. Here we have some problems, Emma Frost wasn't a hero back then, she was a member of the Hellfire Club! The second problem is Jessica Jones did not exist back then she is a 2000 character! The other problem is, as both groups are facing each other, Ares is the only one out of the Avengers group giving orders or taking command! This shows that Bendis doesn't now Avengers history and one of the problems I have with him. In the Avengers group, You have 5 ex/current Chairmen, Iron Man, Black Widow, Wasp, Ronin(Hawkeye), Ms. Marvel but none of them take charge when Iron Man goes down. The excuse that they are seeing their doubles don't cut it because almost every superhero has seen his double at least 3 or 4 times. The only one that I would give some room for shock value would be Hawkeye and that is because of Mockingbird being one of the 70's heroes. Vision gets right into Sentry head and he flies away, hopefully he will never come back. There is a problem with the battle, if they do possess the powers the battle should be over in seconds.

After the battle breaks out Ms. Marvel takes off with the injured Iron Man and Sentry flies away, there goes your three most powerful. The 70's team has Phoenix, Ms. Marvel, Iron Man, Vision, Emma Frost, Thor, Scarlet Witch, Power Man, Woverine, Cap, Hawkeye, Mockingbird, Invisible Woman, Jessica Jones, Beast, Spider-Man, Wonder Man versus Ronin, Luke Cage, Wolverine, Echo, Spider-Man, Wasp, Black Widow, Wonder Man, Ares, Spider Woman, Iron Fist.

It is great to see Hawkeye using the old bow again but when they gave him that back they forgot to include his arrows, all you get to see him shoot after him KO's his Skull's versions is regular arrows. The bringing back Mockingbird after a supposedly two years of MIA is ridiculous even for a Hawkeye fan, considering Mockingbird died in the mid 90's.

In New York, the Skulls attack but every one of them has powers like Marvels heroes and villains and it looks like the young Avengers will have to hold them till the cavalry comes.

If you wanted revelations about who else is a skull in MU, you aren't going to get them in this issue. You will find out about three or four of the 70's team, maybe. A definite improvement over #1 but still a disappointment overall. This story line could be used to right all the wrongs committed by Marvel Administration over the past few years before it is said and done!

Yeah, Harry Potter is ok, but definitely not the best out there. I don't like the sound of health problems. Anything life(or more importantly, junk) threatening? If so, man, I definitely feel for you, and will pray for thy speedy and eventless recovery. Germany ist good, ja?
