"If you can't do it, Nobody can!"
Real Life
I'm 19 and I work at Wal-Mart. I love comic books, obviously, and my favorite character is Spider-Man. He is just really cool. I also love video games and movies. If you want to know anything else, just ask.
Super Life
Nathan Mendenhall grew up in a small town in California. While growing up, he lived an average life, went to school and got decent grades. At the age of 19, Nathan got a job working at a local store, until he could work his way through college. One night on his way home, a glowing rock fell from space. After touching it, Nathan blacked out and woke up the next day to find him and his clothes were invisible. Stunned by the change, Nathan accidently walked infront of an on coming car and barely had time to create a wall out of reaction out of an invisible energy.
Nathan told his family, who were all shocked and thought it would be best if he stayed home until the figured out what to do. Because he couldn't go to work anymore, Nathan started selling his comic books and other things for money online. One day he was walking down the street when he heard a lady being attacked in an ally. Nathan using his powers easily defeated the men. Then next day in the paper, the news has dubbed him as, "Nobody".
Nobody found more an more that his adventures were making him travel all the way to southern California to fight major super villians like Captain Hazard. So Nobody asked his best friend who lived in the area if he could move in with him to make the super life a little easier. Eventually Nobody was hunted down my a massive alien, named Xallarap, who imformed him his leader was after him.
Eventually Nobody got tired of the Alien attacks and allowed himself to be captured so he could face this "leader" face to face. The leader was a powerful alien who was named Zorg. Zorg showed Nobody, what they called the Quantum Gem, which was massive glowing rock like the one that gave Nobody his power. Zorg told Nobody how his people use the gem, to mutate them into powerful beings, and that the a peice of the gem managed to escape their ship. Zorg ordered Nobody to join his ranks, and help him control the galaxy, starting with Earth.
Nobody at first accepted his offer, but as a trick to get closer to the Quantum Gem. Once Nobody had Zorg's guard down, he used his energy constructs to launch the Quantum Gem right into the sun. Furious, Zorg order a full scale attack on Earth, but with the help of Mr. Amazing and the rest of the Justice Force, Nobody was able to fight off Zorg's forces into a retreat. It was at this point, that Mr. Amazing offered Nobody a place on the Justice Force, but Nobody turned him down.
New Age Outlawz
The New Age Outlawz is the first Superhero team that Nobody ever joined. This team helped him through the start of his career and really turned him into a full on hero and not just a guy with special powers. But the NAO eventaully fell to the Vine Villians and Nobody had to move on.
N.O.B.O.D.I.E.S.
For a while Nobody was the last stand against the evil in the world, but he knew he wasn't going to beable to do it alone. He formed the group NOBODIES, which was offically the last chance the heroes had for awhile. But after seeing more and heroes make the stand, Nobody knew that the NOBODIES had succeeded and were no longer needed, so he disband the team.
League of Extraordinary Viners
The League of Extraordinary Viners was eventaully created by a long time friend, Last Arrow. Arrow personally asked Nobody to join the team, which Nobody agreed to. Nobody soon rose through the ranks to Second in Command of the team, up until Last Arrow left the group. Nobody was offered leadership of the group, but he didn't want it and Kiara became the currnet leader. Nobody is proud to follow such a determined leader.
Romance
Nobody thought he found love in the villian Deathscythe. The two did share a unique relationship for awhile, but it was destined to fail, because they were far two different and were fighting for two different sides of the same war. Though it didn't last, Nobody knows he will never forget her.
Powers
Invisibility
After having that energy from the rock he found enter his body, Nobody's body mutated making him always invisible. He is visible all the way through, organs, blood, bones, skin, hair, etc. This rock also gave him the ability to make other objects and people visible, though he has to actually think about this. If he loses too much conscentration or runs out of energy, the object will become visible again. Aside effect from this is that inorganic material Nobody's skin touches becomes invisible too. His clothes also become, even the ones is body isn't physically touching(shoes, jacket, etc.) Later in his series Nobody will find out that his turning other things through touch is just a part of his ability to turn objects invisible. The cause of this is that, his mind believes that it would turn invisible and so his powers activate on it without his focus. After learning this he will gain the ability to make these objects visible with focus. The best way to describe it is when a person trys not to breath. If he stops thinking about the object at all, it will become visible again.
Willpowered Constructs
Another effect of Nobody's mutation is the ability to produce willpowered constructs made of an unknown invisible energy source. This is energy force can be produce for a varity of effects, including Armors, swords, shields, guns, creatures, etc. Most thinks that Nobody tends to create are pretty simple, such as a staff or a gun, but he has been able to create creaters(such as the dragon when fighting Arrow). This dragon is not a actual living creature and has no thought process, as it only acts upon, Nobody thoughts. This energy can be formed as something has hard as metals or as just energy beams. The exact extent of his powers are still unknown, but he could create a shield large enough to cover a city the size of New York. Though if it was under heavy attack it wouldn't be for very long. If Nobody, surrounds himself in some sort of armor construct he will beable to imitate superhuman feats, such as flight, strength, and durability. The exact amount of strength determines the amount of willpower he puts into it. For flight speed, in theory he could go at speeds nearing the speed of light, but he would not beable to react at speeds that quick.
Invisible Sight
A final effect from Nobody's powers is his ability to "see" invisible objects. Nobody is able to see himself and objects he creates as transparnet and not invisible. He can also see the objects he makes invisible or that something else makes invisible. This ability doesn't work if someone is making themselves invisible by messing with his mind or if its mystical in orgin for the cause of the invisibility.
Downsides
Some of the downsides to Nobody's ability. As always being invisible, living a normal or any kind of life is hard. This also comes to a disadvantage when trying to get someone's attention, or if someone on his team is looking for him. Although Nobody is always invisible there are other ways for him to be "seen". Infrared or any other way of sensing heat he still comes up as, also if someone can find people mentally or through mystical means he can be found. He still makes noises as he walks, etc, so someone could hear where he is at given that he is close enough to them and how good their hearing is. If something is thrown onto his clothing, it is not touching his body and would then be visible. If someone has the ability to absorb various types of energy, Nobody is pretty much rendered powerless against them becuase they could absorb whatever he makes. Nobody's sheilds can't shield him from mental attacks, so he has to completely avoid their attacks.

Yeah, I have sorta been trying to gain one of those things...what do they call them? Oh yeah! A life. I've started working out and have been getting more hours at work. Anyways, my point is time that I've spend on the Vine has been cut down to almost none, and when I do have time for it I mostly just check up on Comic News and then I'm off. So I guess this is good bye Comic Vine, if you need me you can pm or if you have it IM. |

Nobody's Reviews
Cable & Deadpool #50: Symbiosis Mitosis
I got into the Cable and Deadpool series very late in its run. But for what I have gotten, I have loved this series and this issue just about summed it all up for me. Deadpool has jumped to one of my favorite characters. He is so funny, and his team-ups are the greatest out of any comics. Seeing him in action with the rest of the Marvel Universe is just awsome, and I really hope he will get his own series soon. At the very least a mini series, cause he is too great of a character to just forget about.
Captain Marvel #3: Deep Background
Spoliers
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! They can't do this, its not fair! Not to Captain Marvel! But yet it is sadly true, the great Captain Marvel may actually be a......SKRULL! WTF? If they do this whole bring him back to get us excited just to shoot down our dreams by saying he is a skrull I'm going to be pissed. I'm hoping this is just another skrull trick to mess with Mar-Vel cause he can't be a skrull he just can't be! Church of Hala is ran by Skrulls too? WTF are skrulls worshiping Cap Marvel for? I am still not quiet getting the big picture of what their planning, but this will be one pissed comic fan if he is actually a skrull.
So I finally got my hands on the first issue of Hulk featuring the new Red Hulk. It wasn't bad, didn't get me excited about the series like the first issue of Thor's new series did though. We find Iron Man and his group examining a battle between Abmoniation and what the believed to be The Hulk. After a little girl tells them them "Red" in russian, they start to wonder if this was even the Hulk at all. So General Ross and Doc Samson go to see Bruce Banner who is still in lock up from the WWH series.
So my take on it is its not anything super exciting. This new Hulk is probably going to go ramapaging around and won't beable to get stopped by anyone. Iron Man or someone is going to decide that they need the Real Hulk to stop it. After releasing the Hulk the two Hulks will battle it out leaving the real Hulk to take the series over again. Thats my guess. I'm also going to say that this new Hulk is probably Rick Jones, since that is what they are leaving us to believe, and it is caused somehow by him getting stabbed in WWH.
Thor is the definition of awsome in the Marvel Universe. He is just so cool, the strength and power, not to mention the cool Asgard sayings. He is just awsome and I'm loving this series so far. The stuff he has done is just purly amazing. I mean in this issue he goes toe to toe with the Destroyer Armor and wins. That is an incredible feat for anyone to do! Then we find out that Loki is back, but wait what?! LOKI IS A GIRL?! Thats right, Loki is now Thor's half brother, and claims to have changed. But come on, its Loki, of course he hasn't changed. Dr. Doom seems to have some plans for the Asgardians as well, I can't wait to see what.
Alright so people are pissed about this new series for Spider-Man. "Its wrong to retcon 20 something years of comics history" and all that jazz. Well I think people are jumping the bandwagon a little early and not giving this a chance. We all know that DC comics has had had more than one retcon that has changed their whole universe, yet it went over very nicly. First word that this is going to be done to everyone's favorite webhead(My favorite hero) and they want to kill somebody. I think someone just needs to give this series a chance, before deciding its the worst idea ever. So onto the review:
As Peter appears to be out of Action for the last month or some(since Civil War maybe). The Daily Bugle has gone bankrupt without any stories to print about him, and so mugger is robbing people as Spider-Man. Peter is short on cash, as usual, and ends up borrowing some money so he can get an appartment. But before you can get the appartment, he is mugged by the "Spider-Mugger" and also loses one of his web-shooters. He manages to get a Spider-Tracer on the guy but he escapes. Later Peter confronts JJJ about money he owes him, and it appears that JJJ had a heart attack or something from stress. They also show some new villian named Mister Negative, though he hasn't met up or done anything invovling Spidey yet. Long story short, pick this up its a must read. At least get the first couple issues before deciding if you hate this series or not.
