History

The New Beginning

Within a empty warehouse the man known as Darkchild his body again for the second time in his life it works against him. His body writhes in pain finally falling to the floor onto his knees the one voice that speaks out to him is one he does not want to hear

Hahaha it looks as if I have finally gained control of your powers and your mind.

Genesis speaks through Darkchild speaking to him and his words hit deep I have been waiting in this god forsaken body for too long, you do not see the potential you have you hold back. And today i will show you why the myths called me the bringer of pain.

And in that instant Darkchilds body began to churn as if something underneath was trying to gain freedom and something did. Four pairs of tentacles spring from Darkchilds midsection two on each side and then the rest of his body begins to quake The world will see what i can do with your powers. Darkchilds metallic skin soaks back into his body and then in a excruciating process is expelled from his body through every sweat glad almost thrusted out. Genesis was using Darkchilds own magnetic powers against him. The metallic substance that surrounded Darkchilds body lay in a puddle in front of him.

"Why are you doing this? I gave you a home and now you wish to take over you damn bastard." Darkchild screams as more of his body changes. His skin turns pasty white then his face begins to churn as if something is waiting to escape. And then four barbs escape breaking through the back of his head and wrap around his mouth and form into a almost mask covering his mouth. Then his body begins to quake again his power begins to lash out destroying the building around him and much of the area that surrounds.

His body again changes and his demonic appearance is truely being defined, his eyes turn a pure black and his right arm transforms the darkness within it unstable. It becomes large then shrinks back down to its normal form, his body is going haywire the imbalance of powers going on in Darkchilds mind taking a tole on his body.

His body begins to reabsorb the metallic skin that used to cover his body "You will not control me NONE OF YOU WILL!" and with that being the lap dog for all these years and then Genesis finally being bold and attempting full control finally causes Darkchild to loose it. "This is my Body and no one will ever change that." The voices within Darkchilds mind begin to scream for Darkchild is erasing them permently from his mind using his newfound telepathic powers he gained from Erik. And the one personality not to scream out was Erik he speaks before he is finally unable to do so "Finally you grew a pair" he says before the voices grow silent within Darkchilds mind, only his own trembling mind remains. Finally after years of being crowed and fractured he is whole.

His body quakes again and the quake sends power jutting everywhere darkness and telepathic energy flying everywhere. The darkness begins to tear at the building around him and voices of everyone in the world fill his brain as a result of his powers going haywire. He finally realizes that with the personalities that control these powers gone Ginju and Erik they are unstable and need refining. Darkchild concentrates and finally after exhausting all of his energy is able to almost turn the powers off, putting them in a hibernation until he can use them.

He looks at his body or what remains of it, without his darkness powers on constant use his right arm is gone. He looks at his empty space where his right arm was and his eyes turn white as he forces his metallic skin to its limits. Creating a entire arm from the substance that covers his entire body. "If i do not have my darkness to protect me at all times i shall improvise" he says to himself creating a large armor around his body almost like a knights armor. And soon his body the demonic form he now posses and appears as is covered in a thick armor shining in the sunlight of the sun. He still has power over light and fire at his disposal as well as his magnetic power and the remaining powers he has absorbed but he is not the same Darkchild he used to be. His mind clear and calm he sets out to take the world as Darkchild not as the man with voices or even the Child of Darkness but Darkchild the man who will take the world on.

Powers

Darkchilds powers remain the same as they were before his recent transformation. But now without the telepathic and darkness powers at his disposal at all times he now relies on his other powers. As well as the untold strength he had before adding onto his increase in size.

Invisible forcefield-Nobody

Fire control and manipulation-Pyro

Metallic Skin/Armor and arm: Colossus

Magnetism-Mighty Magneto

Light-He still has some residual powers based from Genesis powers. He is able to create hard light objects and energy.

Tentacles-After Genesis attempted to take control of Darkchilds body he left four souviners, four tentacles which are the main component in Darkchild absorbing powers.

Power Absorbtion-Able to absorb powers from individuals, and adding onto his now powers the tentacles that protrude from his midsection allow for him to grab and absorb

Sword Creation-He still uses the power to create swords but he resorts to the use of pain in the creation of his swords.

Hibernating Powers

He has forced his telepathic and Darkness powers into a hibernation because they are too unstable and out of control. If he were to use them they would be in a last case measure. But they still are the same powers just at a vastly more powerful level.

Appearance

Darkchild now appears as a total new look. His appearance does not resemble Colossus nor anyone he now is what he always wanted to be..himself.

He has a permentent "mask" around his mouth that starts at the back of his head created from the four barbs that protrude from the back of his head.

Four tentacles protrude from his ride and left side of his body (two on each side) they wrap around his midsection when not in use.

He has a full body armor on at all times the only skin that is shown is the top of his face.

Under each part of his armor are spikes that dig into his skin allowing him to use pain as a weapon. Creating energy and weapons from the pain.

The Brotherhood

Darkchilds new transformation made him realize that being with the ones he thought as family were insolent and pitiful. So when Arrow decided to make a new team and bring hell on earth his request of Darkchild was not surprising and Darkchilds acceptance of the request was neither. He now serves in the Brotherhood

Ice Dragons

After betraying the HFC and giving the enemy the information that would put Gambler in jail Darkchild sat on the sidelines for a good time. Never wanting anything from anyone other than to be left alone.

Soon the man known as Andferne would come to him and gave him a offer. Andferne had known that Darkchilds mind hasnt been set on one side for quit sometime that Darkchild has left and rejoined many teams. Always looking for something...somewhere to belong.

The knowledge that Lexi Andfernes wife would also be on the team made the decision very clear. He accepted at first so that he himself could keep a look on Lexi a woman he had wanted for sometime. But after becoming more of a brother with Andferne over the past months this want for Lexi soon drifted and their bond turned into a big brother and little sister role. His odd way of looking at the world made him essential for training the would be recruits and new team mates. Many of the persons within the Ice Dragons Darkchild has faced in combat and gained respect for. But finally after ten long and grueling years he has found a new family....his new family reminds him a great deal of his first the NAO.
