    A fully-painted recounting of the origins of Johnny Blaze, the man the world knows as the Ghost Rider! What would cause a man to barter his soul with Satan, becoming an unholy Spirit of Vengeance in the process?

    Paul Jenkins and Paolo Rivera retell the supernatural account of how Johnny Blaze became Ghost Rider. The story opens in Las Vegas where Johnny Blaze is living a self-destructive life, following in the steps of his last father, Barton Blaze. He is world class stunt driver and brings in the crowds in a regular basis. Because of his reckless behavior, those closest to him and concerned about his future.

    Johnny, too, is thinking about his future and spends a great deal of time reflecting on his sorrowful past--a past filled with death and disappointment. Even his closest friend and mentor of dying of cancer. All hope seems lost until Johnny is visited by the devil, who makes a pact with him to spare his friend the pain of the cancer in his last days. The devil twists his promise and Johnny Blaze vows to fight him until the day he dies.
