    Ride'em Cowgirl

As usual the first story here is an Adam Strange one. While the science was equally as horrible as usual (in fact probably more so because of their pseudo-scientific explanations in this one) the end result is actually entertaining enough as Adam and Alanna figure out how to ride giant fireflies to battle a menace. The Giants of the Telescope feature looks at John Flamsteed's achievements. The next story is unconventional as it looks at a polyglot that travels the cosmos learning languages. A bit of luck turns bad on him and he ends up having to defend a planet from invaders. The next story has more alien invaders, this time against Fort Nova but a timely intervention (and a lot of luck) stop them as well. Although this issue lacked common sense at most points, it was still readable enough.
